Clinical Chemistry: Principles, Techniques and Correlations

I ordered this textbook for my grad school biochem class, and I made sure to order New. The book I received, pictured above, is NOT New. It's been highlighted on multiple pages and the spine is minorly scuffed. My invoice for the book even says "New," not "Like New." The book itself is in good condition and I will be keeping it as I need it for my classes, but I am frustrated and disappointed that the product did not arrive as advertised.

Very straight forward and easy to understand. Great book for general knowledge on the subject with good precision. I will definitely recommend this book.

The glossary leaves a bit to be desired and has to be accessed online. There is no way to access the answers to the end of chapter questions unless your professor gives them to you. This book only contains chapters and index all the other useful reference tables etc. have to be accessed online.

Good, lots of great information, but learning this material can be overwhelming. Pro -- This book comes with hardback. If you care about keeping your books hardback bound are the best. Con -- No answers to any of the chapter case studies.

I need this for school. Kinda glad it has a soft cover which makes it just that much lighter to carry. The price was right as well.

This book was required for school. I like how material is presented. Should be a great resource for the semester and beyond.

not the seller's issue, the book sucks

I have the 5th edition of this book as well. The 7th edition is STILL missing information, and case study questions do not have relevant information in the chapter they are located, leading to internet searches to find the answers. Would be nice to have a place for answers in the back of the book like most textbooks, or on the online companion. As with pretty much all laboratory textbooks, lacking and behind in many areas of technology.

A fairly affordable book with sufficient detail of concepts. I am using it to teach undergraduates (B.Sc. Biochemistry), but the material of this book has enough breadth and depth to be equally useful for students in M.Sc., MBBS and M.D. courses in biochemistry or bioanalytical techniques. The initial few chapters on techniques and how they work are especially good for those without good background knowledge. All in all, a very good book for students of clinical biochemistry.

I ordered this textbook thinking it was the one that was pictured on the site, the book I received is a totally different edition to that which they are showing the picture for. False advertising
