Good fit. I also use a piece of electrical tape for added security. I use this product to help ensure that rain does not short circuit electrical contacts in my RV trailer plug. This happened to me recently when I noticed that after heavy rain, my trailer tail lights were illuminated while disconnected from the tow vehicle. Apparently rainwater short-circuited two adjacent contacts, causing the trailer battery to backfeed the trailer tail lights.

I wasn't expecting this cover to be waterproof. But with the cable draped over my trailer's tank, it collected water after a rainstorm and the inside started...melting? Part of the plastic got gooey and ended up getting into the connections and left a residue, then that plus the water started causing some corrosion on the contacts - the exact problem I was trying to prevent, but worse!So now I have a mess to cleanup in the plug contacts.Do not recommend, would not purchase again.
