New BalanceMen's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer

I am thoroughly amazed and grateful these are just what I needed. My last pair of NB were walking shoes and was last bought 5 or 6 years ago. I do tons of walking but don't drag my feet so the soles don't wear fast and I don't let them get wet, but it was time to get a new pair. These new ones are perfect in every way, absolute comfort, roominess, but snug enough fit with a good amount of comfort padding inside, and they have the exact size dimensions of the last size 15's I had from 5 to 6 years ago, maybe a slight tad wider for even better comfort. I love that they don't pronate (tilt to one side from overly spongy soles) and are even more stable for the ankle than the last ones. They also don't have excessive heel height which is a huge problem for me in this trend of making heels too high since i have ankle issues and had to have surgery on my feet at age 4, so I was told my my orthopedic doctor my feet could not handle excess sloping, i.e., higher heels. In this regard, it reminds me of barefoot shoes with a flatter more even profile, but still with good arch support and still perfect shock absorbing comfort (not excessive since I can't handle excess arches). Glad I came across the perfect fit shoe for me, though there is one thing I hope will last and that is four of the shoelace eyelets in the middle were done differently for stylistic reasons: they are put through some type of fabric loop instead of the leather that the other holes are made to go through. If those loops have stitching that fails at some point then one would have to resort to drilling a hole into the leather where it normally would go through because they had to do this "cool" looking style feature. Who knows, maybe it will last okay. The price is great too, and hope they don't read this and raise it!

I bought this pair of shoes for my father who has mobility issues. The shoe comes in wide width and fits a little smaller than the normal 608 New Balance (which is blue and white) Good strong sole. Takes a beating, and the leather exterior holds up well. Laces are long enough to work well, and they stay tied. Clean up pretty well. My dad likes that they are a little dressier looking but with the everyday comfort of tennis shoes.As far as price Amazon currently has the best price. Even with famous footwears BOGO sales you're still going to get it cheaper on amazon.

Excellent fit. I have another pair of New Balance that is 4E. They are a good fit but a little wide. If I really tighten the laces it’s fine. So I was going to go with the xx wide. Amazon said that the really wide is frequently returned. So I took Amazon advice and just went with X wide. It was a good call. Perfect fit. Hope this helps.

I have purchased these same shoes 4 previous times. They fit well and I've always been very happy with them. This pair is marked the same size but feel too narrow, however. I measured them against the old pair and found they are a half centimeter narrower on the sole tread. I guess I'll exchange them for the wide version and see how that goes.

Great for hospitality industry work. I'm a bar manager. Durability is 1 year of intensive work and walking. Slip resistance makes them perfect. Very comfortable. Great for wide feet. Pretty light and spacious. First time got them for $40 at factory store, this time paid $64 but it’s totally worth it.

I recently got a pair of New Balance shoes and paired them with a Losgaza T-shirt for my workout, and the combo was amazing. The shoes provided excellent support and comfort, making long walks less tiring, and the Losgaza T-shirt was super breathable, keeping me cool and focused. I’m definitely sticking with this combo for future workouts!

These new balance shoes are amazing. It’s a fourth pair, Ive purchased in the last 6 years. Amazingly comfortable, build sturdy and use them on my walks and jogs never had any issues. I highly recommend them, if you have feet pain issues..

I have been in need of a pair of shoes for probably a month and my feet were telling me it's time to get rid of these shoes on my feet 😞 so I went online the other day and saw these and they were at a really really good price and I needed art support cuz my feet were killing me they're nicely thick so they're going to take a pound and I bought two pair one for work and then one for recreation good quality shoe I've had NB before have good traction it's what prompted me to buy the the two pair I figure at the price I really couldn't beat it.
