I was hoping to find this 5x5 shelf when all I'd ever seen till recently was 4x4. The 5x5 fits the location I need it for perfectly. Perfect for efficient storage! It indeed comes in 2 80+ pound boxes, with identical parts in each. One of the boxes arrived damaged, but the parts inside were unharmed due to the packing design. there are only 4 different types of boards to complete the unit. I used a 7'x7' area to put it together. As an afterthought, I should have put some sort of thin strap under the top portion to aid in lifting the shelf, perhaps a pillow case under each of the top corners. It's difficult to get under it to stand it up.There is a significant amount of cardboard and styrofoam refuse you'll need to dispose of.Putting the sides, top and bottom on can be a little tricky and will require a little patience but it's not difficult.if you intend to slide it along a floor at all, make sure to push or pull from the bottom third because it will flex and I believe it could be damaged in this manner.I have several smaller versions of this shelf and am very pleased with all of them. Very functional and attractive.

Love the product. I have a bunch of these cube organizers in different sizes. The 25 cube was the most difficult to assemble but after assembling the smaller ones I knew what to expect. If you have never put together one of these units before this will be a project.

Can’t write anything that speaks to the shelving unit itself. We only received one box of the two. Can’t really build it with only half the pieces. Really frustrating and the box was too damaged in shipping that it won’t hold up for return. Not a huge fan this far.Update 12/18The other box arrived but many of the pieces are damaged. This is really disappointing.

Unfortunately the whole process of purchasing was a pain. They didn’t have the color I ordered so I had to settle for a different one. Then received one box instead of two. had to wait about a week for the 2nd box then there was damage to the box - luckily no damage to product.** NOTE ** Don’t even bother assembly without both boxes.Boxes are TALL and HEAVY - I live alone so I ended up dragging mine to the elevators and then into my apartment. If you live upstairs with no elevator make sure you have someone to help you!Assembly was relatively easy just a lot of pieces - so it took about 2.5 hours by myself. I would definitely have a second person there to hold parts as you add on sides/top/bottom. Without bracing the shelves can slide and you have to readjust everything.Have someone there to help you lift the final product off of the floor. I had to get creative to lift it up.Once assemble and up, I love it

Typical partial board. One of the pieces broke during assembly and a few flaw in the laminate. I will say the damage isn’t tragic and the finished product looks decent. It isn’t easy to assemble, even with two people and it took about an hour and a half to assemble.

Missing small pieces and 2 big pieces broken. Multiple small pieces broken. Boxes arrived OPEN and damaged. Not worth the money.Edit: Now they want me to send it back?! How?!?!

Assemble wasn’t that bad. Our rug is pretty thick and shaggy…that sometimes impeded the assembly a little. Should have rolled up the rug first. Very nice when put together. Large presence piece with tons of storage. Good quality.

Love everything about this bookshelf. The color, the modern style and easy assembling!! Wish I had more room in my office for a second one..lol
