This is Mikasa brand regardless of what the tag says.
When I received my fruit bowl I was impressed by the way it looks, very nice, very sturdy, but I was apprehensive because the tag attached says nothing about it being Mikasa brand. I saw another reviewer had stated it was not Mikasa brand. So, I called Mikasa, and they assured me that Gourmet Basics, and Lifetime Brands is truly their brand. So, this is not a knock off, it is the real thing!

well made and a nice size. Pretty much just what I wanted
Attractive, well made and a nice size. Pretty much just what I wanted. I do find the unattached basket and base/arm to be a little clumsy when all are moved. Functionally, I like that they can separate... I just think it is worth a star to give my suggestion... that there should be a pair of clips which hold or release the assembly as desired. I will likely make my own. Still, this is a nice and very functional fruit basket I'm glad to have.

NOT MIKASA BRAND
THIS IS NOT MIKASA BRAND...Product is good & sturdy. Hook is kind of wide to hang bananas on, but can make it work. Not returning because it will be more hassle than it's worth. Disappointed that Amazon misrepresented

it is beautiful and i woud love to get one for myself ...
i bought this for my mothers birthday. it is beautiful and i woud love to get one for myself it was hard to let go. it is too heavy duty pieces that separate easily for cleaning. built so it doesn't topple over with heavier fruits.

Scuffed, looks dirty, not worth the price.
After waiting a good week or so for delivery this looks like it went through some good use before being repackaged and sent out. The matte finish is scuffed away all over. The underside corners looks dirty. It functions to hold fruit, but is definitely not the nice table top piece I thought I ordered. The hassle of getting it returned during the current situation is not worth it, but I'll only use it until I find something that isn't battered and bruised at first sight.

It's very sturdy. Exactly as it looked and the quality is great. It held about 8 grapefruits.
