3M Privacy Filter for Microsoft Surface Book (PFNMS001) , Black

Works well on my Surface Book. Relatively easy to apply.

This privacy filter is very effective, and I am quite pleased with it. But note, I do not believe it is removable.

The filter works great, it doesn't affect the touch, satin/silky finish, very good for pen or fingers.Only problem is the installation instruction doesn't reflect the actual product, or rather the line of 3M products.There are NO product number on the filter to identify which side to install during installation.I also cannot see a difference between the Matt/Glossy side finish? I think the "reversible use" statement is a bit misleading.The privacy angle could be better, words/picture are still visible pass 60 (IMO more than 15% visible).I would have liked it if it was 45-55. I think the old 3M filter (non touch) works better, if privacy is your major concern.

The privacy screen works great, you can only view the screen straight on not from the sides.

A waste of money. The product is well made and the seller was great, but it does not offer any privacy. The photo on the package cover is not even remotely close to what this filter does. At most, it acts as a UV filter for the viewer, but individuals sitting next to you can see your screen as clear as day. The manufacturers' instructions tell you to apply the stickers to the side with the laser etched product number. That does not exist on the product, so I tried both sides with the same effect. It's a fancy piece of plastic that does nothing to protect your work from wandering eyes.

Privacy screen is pretty fuzzy, and substantially dims the display even when looking straight at it.Does not come with clips, 3M opted for sticky bands which are cumbersome to apply and remove.

I just wish it was a little more private from looking at the screen from some angles I need it for. I sit on planes alot and it does work, but as you turn up the screen brightness it is not as private as I like, While I can turn down the brightness, you have to take into account that it does dim the screen head on due to its nature. Works well with pen and touch.

Came as promised and packaged in a secure box. Screen fits my Surface Book perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone.

Waste of money - can see the screen at all angles. Not private in any way shape or form

Well, this product has two main problems (apart from the crazy price). Firstly the strips let a sticky residue on my screen - this is not acceptable, as there are adhesives available that leave no residue. A glue specialist like 3M should know this, surely? Secondly it fails to do it's job in that you can see text from up to 60 degrees to the side. This means the product is useless for most situations. It makes it darker, but does not make it illegible, and someone could easily photograph the screen with a phone and tweak the images in photoshop to see everything clearly. For the cost I would expect it to block 100% after 45 degrees. In it's current state this a worthless item.

Einfach anzubringen und bietet ausreichend Blickschutz von der Seite. Auch die Touch Funktion ist nicht beeinträchtigt.

Good fit for the Surface book. Easy to install and is VERY effective in providing privacy. The angle of view means anyone not directly in front of the screen doesn't see anything so you can work alongside someone on the train or plane and they are unable to see what you are working on. Very effective

Super! Macht was sie soll. Helligkeit des Displays etwas runter stellen und der Sitznachbar kann nichts erkennen. Nutze es regelmäßig im ICE. Touchscreen funktioniert auch. Würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.
