I used to have an ultrasound repeller but after using it for a year the battery seems to be losing its capacity. So that is why I got this new one because I can replace the battery for this one.The design of the repellent looks like an Owl, and those eyes are actually LEDs that come with white and red. This seems to be a very simple design but very useful because that is intimidating for other animals. Not so many repellers come with this design. My neighbor’s cat used to be scared of my old repeller but because there is no light on it, she soon got used to it and keeps fouling in my lawn. Once I got this new repeller I set it to setting 5 instead of 2 because the LEDs will only be activated in this setting. Although it is not specifically for cats but it seems to be more useful. The neighbor’s cat seems to be quite scared of it and I saw her a lot less.Overall it is a very good repeller. I tried a lot of different methods before like the spray or gel but this one gives me the best result. One complaint though, is that it is so difficult to install the repeller to the fixing tube. It seems that the mount is a bit too small to slide the fixing tube in and it took me lots of strength and time to put it in place. Otherwise, everything would’ve been perfect for this repeller.

Easy to set up and sometimes works at setting 5 but I don’t think the sonic sound works as it doesn’t scare off cats digging and pooing on lawn

The media could not be loaded. Whilst there is an ultrasonic element there is also a siren which sounds on every setting - not just the final one as per the instructions. Probably more annoying for humans and every neighbour than any cats. Absolute rubbish.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this item as I had a lot of cat poo in my garden so I needed to keep the animals away. In the box as you can see you get everything you need to set this up. Is also got a handy little guide/ instructions to set it up step by step. At first I was a bit wondering if I made the right choice or not after reading negative comments on here. I can honestly say I can’t fault this one bit. The great thing is it’s solar powered which makes it easier. Before first use you do have to charge it for 2-3 hours with the usb provided. It can also take 10-15 days to deliver the full effect so be patient guys!!! The alarm is a little loud but you can easily turn down the volume. The device is also ip66 protected which is brilliant for the winter and when it rains. If anyone is doubt before buying this I don’t think you need to just buy it and wait for 10-15 days for the full effect and you wished you had bought it sooner. You can even mount this on walls, fences or you can place it in the ground with the equipment provided. It’s made of solid hard plastic do perfect for any weather too even when it’s windy.

Interesting and entertaining for keeping other animals and neighbors away

This was a choice of a few pet scare and was working fine and seemed to keep the pesky squirrels at bay. Forgot to turn it back on last week. Over the couple of days before I noticed the squirrels had been rooting in my pots ! I can only assume they were warned off more by the audiable sound rather than just the flashing lights and sound. All in all a good product but for the sound function. I'd return for exchange and gladly have the same replacement but the return window is closed ( only giving me 4 wks guarantee !! from purchase ) !!!

Plus it's solid as a rock!There are 2 large lighting systems on the product.There are also 2 speakers.However, there are 2 keys:1 of these keys allows you to adjust the volume,The other key lets you adjust sound effects and lighting modes. (You can turn off the lights if you want, that's great! Because my neighbor doesn't like lighted products at all)I have a common garden with my neighbor. My neighbor didn't want me to put a fox repellent there, but I put it in secret. When he saw that it worked, he liked it very much and bought the same product.We installed 2 of the same product in the garden in a mutual way.Our garden is safe and fox free.FINALLY A FOX REPELLENT THAT WORKS AND WORKS WELL!It is durable in rain and storms. It does not deteriorate in 2 days like others.

Was a little dubious if this would work. Have lately been finding some critters keep digging small holes in my lawn at night. So thought let's try this. Easy to put together as its pretty much just the stem. The main thing I liked about this is that the internal battery is solar powered. The range of detection is quite impressive. If I stand at the other end of my lawn (about 25ft) and move you can hear the high pitch sound kick in. I also like the cat eye red lights that flash when it kicks in.Now.. does it work. Yes. I have a very annoying neighbours black cat that frequently tries to use my garden as its personal toilet. By chance one day recent I saw it come into the garden and was detected. The high pitch sound kicked in and the led light eyes flashed. Suffice to say the cat legged it. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and at a great price to. Recommended.
