These are so cool for my plants! They are small, but they actually do the job! Anytime you water your plants the white part on the upper area will turn blue! It tells you that your plant has plenty of water! When it goes back to white, it's time to water again! Very good instrument for the houseplants!

I love plants. I want all the plants. Was I blessed with a green thumb at birth? LOL NO. Do I have a tendency to absolutely DROWN my plants because I just wanna take care of them? Too damn much. These little boogers have changed the game and helped me to grow my little indoor endorphin collection and keep them alive - and thriving!!

These are great. Easy to use. Gauge if the soil is moist. Helps me not overwater. Will buy for all my plants.

They seem to work fairly well, my only gripe is that the color change from pink to blue is not significant enough. It is difficult to tell just when you’re supposed to water them. You still have to stick your finger in the pot. It does alarm you to when you might want to stick your finger in the pot, however. I bought these for my 82-year-old mother to try and remind her to water her orchids. It’s been working fairly well.

I love these! I use them in every single plant I have I ordered them in the short and small sizes for different plants. My only complain is that one of them did not properly work or change color so the accuracy was a little off. Overall would buy again! The size is great and they blend in well.

I cold not keep track of when I watered houseplants so I tended to love my plants to death!. Since having these, my plants are thriving. Such a small price to pay for natural beauty, They are so simple to use; insert into the soil, water the plant, wait for it to turn blue and “VIOLA”! The stick will gradually turn white and that means it is time to water. I am so pleased with these, that whenever I re-pot or get new plants, I will be ordering more of these.v

I changed my review from 1 star to 5 star because the error was mine and that's why 4 out of 5 of them didn't function. Since then I've bought 15 more and will continue to but in the future. These really do work great and I can tell at a glance if my soil is wet, moist or damp depending on how saturated the strip is.

I’ve had them for about a week. Works pretty effectively for me- however- it does take a minute little bit of time for the sensor to go blue so you might not think it works right away. This photo was 30 minutes after watering. It’s a little give and take though since you don’t know the percentage of moisture. Still great for newbies with small plants or shallow pots.Several week update: they all still work and I can see now that I have been under watering my peperomia. It’s starting to look better with more controlled watering routine that these sensors have helped with. Worth the money to me.
