DEE ZEE DZ2171 Brite-Tread Tailgate Protector

This product came bent and banged up. Also it rides high on the tail gate and does not ride over the outside lip of the tailgate leaving a failrly wide gap between top of tailgate and this product. On the good side the company returned my money right away

The stock photo showed this product applied to 3 different tailgates, all 3 showed the item dropping down to cover the top 4 or 5 inches of the outside face of the tailgate; however, the item does not cover the outside face of the tailgate - it covers the top and inside edge. This item is not as described and is not useful for my application.

Product stated it would fit 2007 Tundra. Now here's close. Also what I got nowhere resembled the people picture

I bought this tailgate protector for my 2008 Toyota Tundra. The part does not look like the one pictured. It is supposed to be "U" shaped to protect the top and the two sided of the tailgate end. Instead it is "L" shaped to fit over the top and outside side of the tailgate. Also, the description did not mention that the part is supposed to fit over the original factory plastic tailgate protector, so if yours is missing or damaged this part is not for you. Wish I could return but the seller wants me to pay to ship it back and pay 15% restocking fee...not worth it.

Did not fit or come as shown in the picture. Would not recommend

Product will not fit a 2007 Toyota Tundra Tail Gate at all it does not conform to the contour of the Tail Gate in anyway.
