Vintage Christmas songs

I got this because I wanted the Christmas vacation song by Mavis Staples to play on repeat in the car. Along with this song I discovered there are many Christmas songs we love and some we had never heard.

I love this Christmas cd.

Been looking for Christmas Vacation by Mavis Staples for years. So happy that I finally found it.The entire cd is fantastic. Not over the moon about the singing dogs but my 9 month old puppy sure paid attention.I have many cds that I have collected over the years,this is by far my favorite. This is Christmas music Heaven. I am so please with this Christmas cd.

Quality!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed listening to this CD every day it is amazing songs back from the 80s and I love it and I hope to find more like this in the future so I can purchase more Christmas CDs like this they were made back in the 80s even 70s 60s 50s 40s even 30s I love old-school Christmas songs from famous singer.

If you want to listen to Christmas Vacation by Mavis Staples, buy this CD

I bought this CD for one song because it became unavailable "on demand" on Pandora Premium. (Licensing issues I suppose) Along with that (kind of) modern classic are many other Christmas songs that you'll enjoy from your youth, or even if you weren't born yet when they were recorded. Streaming music services are great, but sometimes content is limited due to individual licensing agreements, as in this case. Call me old fashioned, but I like to purchase something and have a tangible asset, like a CD or vinyl record. If you liked this review, click "helpful" to encourage me to spend the time to write them. Otherwise, I'm just the guy screaming at a cloud.

Worse bunch of so called singing I have ever heard in my life!

I neglected to review or even look at the singers on this cd! My fault. BIG MISTAKE! I was expecting classic, sing song, mellow, lull you to sleep Christmas songs, instead I got a bunch of yelling and screaming that got worse and worse as each track/song progressed! The only one I liked was the first song by Nat King Cole. I ditched the thing in the trash right off.

Best Christmas cd!

My mom bought this cd for me and my sister when I was in like middle school After that, it was me and my sisters favorite cd everrrrrrr. We played it non stop. I’m now 32, and we just lost the cd, so I bought one for my sister for Xmas. I showed it to my mom and she was upset I didn’t buy her one. Such a great xmas cd.
