Disappointed at the actual cord's life span.
I expected much more after reading the description. Kevlar indeed. After only about three months, the cord is frayed and worn, and loses connection constantly (so badly that I get frustrated at all the beeping and just unplug it - even when it's just sitting in one place), not from the connector, which is still quite tight, but from the worn bit of cord. I'm going back to Freiq, or whatever it's called.

I'm hell on charger cables
I specifically purchased a braided cable because apparently I abuse charger cables. Yes, I admit it. I do horrible things with my cables such as leave them plugged in while I play my stupid time-waster of a game on my phone in bed. As such, a regular plastic-sheathed cable has a lifespan measured in weeks with me. I will tear that weak stuff up.I still abuse the cable, but this one's pretty resistant to it. After a couple of months of shameless bending at awkward angles, the very end of the cord near the charging tip is just now starting to show signs of wear. I expect the outer sheath to last a few more months with my monstrous treatment, and then the wear on the inner cables and wires to start. All that considered, the cost I paid was only a dollar or two more than a conventional cable and I'm likely to get 5-10 times the wear out of it.

Exactly what we have been needing!!!
I love this cord. Our Samsung cords kept tearing the plastic casing exposing the wires at the plug obviously posing a danger. After replacing enough of those I had enough and we got a couple of these and I wish I had sooner! It fast charges as long as you have a fast charge adapter and I can tell this cord is going to last! Highly recomend!

was the only right angle usb straight micro usb cable i could find
and it worked just fine. i needed a right angle usb because the regular cable i was using didnt have enough room where it was and kept getting kinked and bent too far out of shape to use. this does the job. i bought 3 just to make sure i was able to keep using them when one inevitable gets damaged and bent beyond repair. it's been at least 7 and a half weeks using it 4/7 days a week for over 40 hours in those days and the first one is still working just fine. will update review when first one inevitably bites the dust.

High quality through and through, low profile ideal for portable battery packs
I'm using 2 of these with a Mophie Powerstation 8x and 5x, one in a Chrome Soma Sling and the other in a Chrome Niko Camera Sling. The L-shaped plug lowers the profile for better fitment in my applications and also reduces the leverage to reduce the risk of bending while plugged in. Great cable; very durable with solidly constructed plugs that clip firmly into everything I've used them on so far.

Best durable cord but lasts only 6 months
This is the ONLY phone cord that actually fits my phone (Samsung) AND my cat cannot chew through it. However, I bought it in October and it is now March (6 months use) and where the cord meets the plastic is fraying and wires are starting to poke through. So I'm ordering a 3 pack today.

Great for use in my Car (Where I needed a right Angle)
I needed a right angle charger to come out of a USB DC-Power Adapter in my car. This is a nice quality cable, and perfect for a permanent charging cord for my Echo Auto device.
