I purchased this carrier mainly for shooting/rifle and pistol classes but also for hiking, hunting, etc. I run my gear hard so I avoid airsoft garbage like the plague. I was originally going to purchase a Multicam Camelbak to replace a dated USGI surplus carrier I've been running for a while when I saw this carrier come up in my search here on Amazon. I was initially skeptical at first glance of the price, but after reading all the excellent reviews I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did!Upon opening the package, I was immediately impressed with the size, construction, straps, and materials used. This carrier is bigger than I thought it was going to be but is the perfect size for a handy, multi-purpose, hydration pack.The carrier is constructed of genuine Multicam Cordura nylon and coyote brown webbing. The shoulder straps are wide enough to be comfortable and adjusted to me perfectly. I was actually not expecting to see a waist strap on this carrier, but sure enough it has both a sternum and waist strap which make the carrier even that much more comfortable to wear fully loaded, The carrier's six back pads make it very comfortable against your back and absolutely help in reinforcing the stoutness of the carrier. Mesh fabric is woven into the inner side of the shoulder straps and on the back pads making it very breathable.Inside the carrier, the hydration bladder pocket itself is separated from the cargo pockets. I have not used the included bladder yet but it seems to be well-made and is at least comparable to the awesome Source bladders I use on a regular basis. The main cargo pocket is easily big enough to hold several rifle mags, ammo, equipment, tools, food, and whatever else you want to store. The secondary cargo pocket on the outside of the carrier is perfectly sized for storing your cell phone, wallet, more mags, more ammo, more food, or whatever else you could possibly want to store! On the outside of the secondary cargo pocket, there are four rows of PALS webbing for you to hang gear or MOLLE-compatible pouches from. Seriously, this carrier has a lot of excellent capabilities for stowing your stuff. Also, the zippers are a nice touch. Instead of using loud, clinking zipper handles, the manufacturers used what looks like 550 cord with plastic tabs for the zipper handles. They're quiet and easy to grab. Very nice indeed.The only thing I'd do to improve this carrier would be to add a velcro loop panel just above the secondary cargo pocket for adding personal identification/morale patches. Besides that, I have absolutely no complaints. For the price, I have a hard time believing that you're going to ever beat this carrier for all of it's capabilities and features. Time and use will tell if this carrier will survive all the abuses a Camelbak can. But this carrier doesn't feel anything like the airsoft garbage I've encountered throughout the years. It's construction, materials, and stitchings are right up there with high quality items I own from manufacturers like Tactical Tailor, Eagle Industries, HSGI, PIG, and 5.11.
