Good fans Easy to assembil especially after you've done 3 of 6 in a row.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought 6 of these and installed them in one day with Help. My house is VERY old By US standards (we're talking WWII Old)and has chicken wire and plaster walls with no central AC ducts. So when you have Late 1940's early 1950's Wiring and NO Central air Fans are KEY! These little buggers are moving Air around like a champ. 4 between the Living room and one in the Kitchen and one in both bedrooms. With the brand new Window AC unit I put in in May this is the coolest the house has been in July since the cold snap where my grandma told tales of it Snowing back in the 1920's. May she rest in peace.Ease of installation:I did hire a little Pro help to get them installed. But I was right there assembling the fan as the Electrician hooked up the mounts and made sure the wiring was solid

Quiet, dimmer compatible, pleasant
The media could not be loaded. I have had it for quite a long time now and waited for quite a long time to post a review because ceiling fans can often get "wonky" after they're installed for a while. I have had absolutely no problem with mine. I changed out the globes and the pulls, as you can see, and I use GE Color Changing Dimmable remote controlled light bulbs in it.The blades are very easy to clean with a damp cloth and the fan is very pleasant to look at and not at all intrusive in a small kitchen. It is extremely quiet, as you can hear (it actually makes no sound at all... the sound that you hear is coming from the furnace cold air return that I'm standing right next to by the kitchen).I am very pleased with my purchase.

Acceptable Quality, but lacking Directions
Quality is OK, but I have a few comments for folks who have not been 'round the Horn with installs like this 1) I would have made the WARNING window about turning off the power its own section 2) "Wiring the Fan" - Shows "Grounded" connect to "White". Both wires should be labeled "White/Neutral" Below that, "Ungrounded" should be labeled "Black/Hot". 3) "Installing the Motor Housing" - Should have something about tucking the wiring up into the hanger; otherwise, it could potentially become frayed by the spinning motor housing and cause a short/fire. 4) "Installing the Blades" - Just remember which color you want facing down in the room :) 5) I've seen reviews that claim this takes about 15 minutes to install. Riiiight! Count on 2 - 2-1/2 hours from walking in the room, through gathering tools, taking out parts, assembly, and clean up. I also had to hunt around for light switch chain and the like, as I'm only 6' tall and getting to the short chains over the table is challenge.

Quiet and Balance fan blades. Also the bulbs are bright
I have been a fan of hunter ceiling fans , its been a while and I am happy to see they haven't changed. The instructions were written properly and understandable, hard to find that these days. It went up easy enough, and on my first attempt everything works and the fan blades are quiet and balanced. Thank you Hunter Fans.

A Strong, Quiet, Beautiful, Awesome Fan!
My niece stuck a broom into the 42-in fan destroying one of the blade-holders so we looked for an alternative (however the bearings were going-out). It seemed more-economical and easier to replace the fan than try to access the bearings and replace the blade-holder. This fan wasn’t the cheapest, but it looked elegant and well-made and had a good sell-price. For me it was a 4-hr job standing on the bed and a step-stool and tightening all the parts as well as connecting the wire-nuts to the existing wire. What makes it take so long is trying to get the right angle on the screws when driving them in above your head. I had to take short-breaks from muscle-fatigue. However, I was proud with the results and the high-setting feels like a heavenly-breeze. I still feel a since of pride from installing the fan when I pass that room and sometimes I will lay on the bed in the dark and appreciate the cool, quiet, relaxing-breeze.
