This Rawlings brown leather first baseman’s mitt is great. It came out of the package almost game ready. The quality of the leather is outstanding—thick, durable, and already starting to form a great pocket after just a few uses. It has that classic Rawlings feel and craftsmanship you expect.The mitt breaks in nicely without too much effort, and the padding is just right—comfortable and protective without being bulky. It has been great for the men's adult sofball league.

I picked up this Rawlings Player Preferred glove for weekend softball games and it’s been a great choice. The 12.5 inch size with the basket web is super versatile. I purchased this for my son-in-law to play with the kids. He was happy to get it. The quality is not top of the line, but adequate for it's use. Fits large adult hand snugly, easy on and off. Color is neutral, Worth the price, I would buy again.

As described and just what I needed. Break it in the old school way with some conditioner or mink oil and the oven. Rub some dirt into it and just use it. Great price for a quality product.

Bought for my son who in his Junior year is learning firstbase. I didn’t want to buy something expensive in case he didn’t like it. The glove is great. He has been happy with it and now he has more versatility to help out his team

First off, I am just a dad that is reviewing a glove for playing with my kids. I used to play competitive baseball, so I do have knowledge of glove quality, but I was not looking for a top tier professional style glove.Review: As soon as I opened the box, I knew I had made a great purchase. Then I put my hand in the glove, and it was confirmed. For a glove at this price, this was a steal of a purchase. It is high quality soft leather. It is not going to peel like the leather shell glove that are only slightly cheaper. It is probably closer to 60% factory break-in rate and 40% user, but I still could take this to play right now. The color of the leather is great too! I would recommend the H stitch pocket because the web is thick and durable compared to the thinner tight checker webbing. 5-star to start/I will update the review if needed, over time.

Great glove. Solid leather. Good value for the price. Would buy again if needed (perhaps decades from now)
