How does this cast aluminum device last with extensive use? Aluminum is a reactive metal, especially to citrus.

This holds up better then my steel unit. Bar Taco a national chain uses it exclusively and make hundreds of margaritas a day. Worst problem you’ll have is the spring will break and you may have to lift it up eventually if you use it ALOT. Not applicable for casual users.

Is this juicer made in China?

No they are made in Mexico is my understanding. That was a couple or so years ago and going back, so not sure about newer models. Wouldn’t be surprised however as the world seems to have off-shored all manufacturing to China.

Does this juicer slide around or tip forward when using it? I see many of the newer juicers come with suction cup feet to keep it stable.

It is. Very heavy and stable with rubber feet. It definitely doesn't slide, however, may tip of you put too much of your weight on the handle. I would definitely buy it again if I needed another juicer.

Will this juice grapefruit or is it too small?

Yes it does! I use it to juice grapefruit often.
