You don't receive enough to do a lot with
The product itself is unique and different than anything else I have encountered. Pucks behave similar to the way they would on ice - not 100%, but close enough.. the issue is you only get 12 tiles for almost $100. The closest thing I could get to that was functional was to use it as a very small shooting pad. With only 12 - there was not much I could do. It's clearly designed for someone to spend $500-$1000 on for anything truly functional. OVERALL - over priced.

Could be better
These shooting pad tiles aren't the surface we were expecting. We have seen some of the synthetic ice shooting pads friends have for their kids to practice at home and those are a lot slicker than the tiles that come with this set. I think the vinyl floor in our basement is a slicker surface that seems more like ice than these tiles. They do say that you can wax the tiles if you want them slicker, but they don't say in the instructions what sort of wax they recommend using.

Not sure what you can do with so few tiles...
The issue with these Franklin Sports Hockey Dryland Flooring Tiles is not the tile itself, but rather what you get in this package. Twelve square feet of tiles. Line these up and make a 12 foot lane, 1 foot wide. Make a 3 foot by 4 foot square. How, exactly do these few tiles give you an opportunity to practice hockey?
