Everything I wanted it to be
In the past I've used a 750 watt hub motor and a 500 watt mid-drive motor, and let me tell you, this thing absolutely puts those to shame. I was expecting a big difference, but not as big a difference as it really is. This thing is really, really powerful. I had some concerns about using a 72v battery with a max output of 60 amps (not the 80 amps this motor wants), but I've had no issues and was also able to limit the power draw to 60 amps with the included display -- which, by the way, is very nice as well. This motor is even quieter than the other two motors I've used too. As a very rough approximation, it's *about* 30-35 watt hours per mile. Paired with a 72v 20AH battery (72 * 20 = approximately 1440 watt hours total), that means I should be able to get about 40 miles per charge if I want to push the battery pack. Considering the torque that this thing puts out, that's just mind blowing to me.With the battery and frame I used, my ebike now weighs about 60 pounds and will go about 60mph. It's the lightest, fastest means of transportation I've ever seen, personally.

Amazingly fast
I built my E bike, using this kit, realizing that the bike would have above average speed, but I had no idea that it would be this amazingly fast (60 +mph) i’m not quite sure of the top speed, because I was afraid to allow the bike to go any faster. It has a huge amount of torque, there is a speed limiter, 1-5 which #1 Will maximize the speed at approximately 17mph.A e-bike with this kit, has the ability to go from tame to a all out joke in seconds. I would only recommend this kit to responsible adults and then with a warning of caution. Having said that ,The kit in itself is excellent.

GREAT SYSTEM, GREAT POWER
Once the rider learns to balance power with battery longevity, this kit satisfies. Just determine which is more important: range or performance. Slow riding versus consistent ripping?

It was a Lemon not a wheel
Buyer beware: i was promised a wheel instead i was sold a lemon. used product sold as new.the first picture is of a spoke with no lug on it at all. the second picture is of one of the rusty lugs. a few ended up being worse then that one after we looked closer. out of aprx 38 spokes 1 was missing and 13 were rusty/corroded . the rest of the pics are just examples of a road used product. from scratches and dings to grime on the cord nub where it goes into the motor. there was also a nice warp to it but by then i was just so disappointed in the wheel i just gave up on making more pics of the damages. this wheel is rated for over 60 mph. if 14/38 spokes are no good you are going to wreck its just a matter of when. i guess they dont really care if i get hurt as long as my credit card was good.i asked for a replacement and was offered 50% off by the seller if i test it and it works. i thought to myself hey i can just go pay home depot 75 cents for a brick why pay $325? and they also made sure to push there batteries on me one last time. so i refunded the purchase and end up with a bunch of wasted time and will never know if this wheels any good. since i cant trust them anymore i also cant buy any other products from the compony. by the way if your package comes from Wisconsin its used since thats where i sent mine back to and the new ones be shipping from the LA warehouse. we are very unsatisfied with this conclusion, fly safe guys and good luck if you buy from Electric Power/NBpower

Not sure yet
I built 2 bikes, the 1st build went very well and very happy with it awesome speed and torque. 2nd build same bike the motor was a little different than the 1st, had some issues getting it together after a few tries success, after hooking up the wires in which are very easy, tested on my bike stand all went well, road test was different, took it around the block hit the brakes the motor vibrated hmmm I said that's not good, ran around the block again it went ok, longer ride not so well the motor vibrated again and shut down. Been back and forth with the nb power Anne has been very helpful but I know I have a bad motor, so waiting for them to confirm and get this straightened out, hope it will and I'd be happy to give 5 stars

Outstanding
I’m a fairly large dude, (230lbs) and this kit easily gets me to 60 MPH. Mounted it on a 29” hardtail MTB, zero issues besides the overall sketchiness of the small frame. I have personally inspected every component inside and out, and I can confirm that this is a truly high-quality motor. Only recommendation I can add would be to send a better quality throttle and grip set, but other than that, I love it.

Make a Monster!
Easy to setup! 3000W 72V with five speed sinewave controller. I used a 25 year old 29" Diamondback MTB frame with front suspension and disk brakes . Added Hill Climb bars, Headlight, Taillight w/Directional, Bike rack, Horn and Phone holder /bag. 3 gear pedal assist. Top speed of 52 mph.
