LIQUAGUARD™ Incontinence Recliner Cover (Standard Forest Green, fits overall chair width 24"- 35")

Love this cover. My dad has incontinence. We ordered one a few months ago and decided to get a second to use while the other is in the washing machine. This cover definitely works and looks great. Yes, the arms shift but not a lot if you tuck it as instructed. Tucking is KEY. We use it on the Easy Comfort LC-200Easy Comfort Three Position Position Lift Chair that we bought here on Amazon. The instructions say to dry it on a setting no higher than 180 degrees. The first time we washed it we set the dryer on low since we weren't sure where the 180 degree cut off was....after that I think we forgot, weren't paying attention, whatver, and just threw it in on medium. We haven't had any stiffening or issues with the cover from dryer heat. The fabric and stiching are well made and have held up well to the washing and drying. Between food spills and accidents we wash it every 7-10 days.

It is very high quality material. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is that it is too large for the small wall away recliner that I am using.

The back of the cover stays on fine but as soon anyone sits in the chair the arm cover parts come off of the arms. I guess that I could fix that by using upholstery tacks or something. One thing that people should be aware of is that when the cover is first removed from the package it has a really strong chemical smell which is very unpleasant but if you wait the odor will disappear completely within hours. Mine was opened in the afternoon and really stank but by the next morning the smell was totally gone.

It has held up through several industrial washes and has kept his chair dry through incontinent episodes. Still looks nice. Worth the money since his chair does not have removable covers to wash.

I have a friend that has Alzheimer's and it is perfect. She has incontenance problems and it fits right over her recliner. Buy two. One to wash for accidents and one for the chair.

I have bought one and wanted a senond one so that when washing, the chair will always be proteced.I would recommend this produce to any needing to protect from being soiled.
