Love this toy! I purchased for my 2 yr old nephew. I have older children that really enjoyed Thomas the train when they were little. It was a big hit with my nephew.

I had to get this little engine because of his name. He is an attractive dark blue color and has nice detail. My son likes him. He has four wheels to Thomas's six, but he goes down slopes and around corners just fine with no derailment. I have not seen the wooden railway version of Timothy for sale in any shop, only online. The only reason I took off one star is that on our engine there is a small paint flaw on the red bumper. The painted edge is not smooth and in one spot the paint is smeared onto the dark blue behind it. It is tiny. However, if I was buying him in a shop, I would have passed it up for another one with perfect paint. Overall we really like Timothy and his jolly little face.
