FloraCraft SmoothFōM Hollow Half Ball 5 Inch x 9.9 Inch White

I painted this green as a base for a beautiful topiary to display in my huge crystal pedestal bowl on my dining room table . I get compliments on it all the tea . Easy & beautiful craft !

Globe pieces were dirty, trashed, dented, deeply scuffed, and a total mess. Not a little bit. So TRASHED the alignment nubs (which correspond with the hole to align hemispheres) on BOTH hemispheres ordered completely flattened from the smashing and bouncing around unprotected in transit.Project deadline won't allow us to return in hopes the next set comes better packaged.So are trying to make do, filling the numerious deep dents and hoping for the best.Pretty expensive for dirty ,dented, trashed, garbage.

I guess it wouldn’t be good for a soup bowl, but perfect for recreating ‘The World’s Largest Ball of Twine’ replica. Hmmm…I wonder which it looks more like? The one in Minnesota or Kansas?

I was worried about buying styrofoam hobby materials on Amazon... I can be picky at local stores and line up several foam pieces in search of the perfect one. My worries were unfounded and Amazon shipped a perfect dome. Very happy with this product and it worked out perfectly for a lunar model I was needing for a mini-fig photoshoot.

I used this half dome along with lights and a projector to create an at home Sweetener Tour! Aka one of the best nights I’ve ever had. The half dome came intact and had some minor dents but it is hardly noticeable!

I made a round full range speaker out of the foam ball. I covered it in fiberglass resin and painted it. It was the perfect size for the 5" full range driver. I may do it again - we'll see.

I used this 1/2 ball to make a “nose “ for my Outdoor Christmas bush Gnome. It worked great for what I had in mind. The neighborhood loved it!👍🏻

Perfect bottom 1/3 of the holiday snowman that will be attached to our front door.
