Tumi Black Leather Folio Snap Case for iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6S Plus TUIPH-005-LBLK

While not black, but rather a pleasing gray, this is made of fine materials and craftsmanship is superb.

This iPhone case is advertised as a black leather folio. It has a very small amount of leather, mostly cheap looking leather and a much larger quantity of cheap plastic. Rarely do I return anything to Amazon, but this baby is headed back. I own numerous Tumi products, mostly wallets and luggage. This resembles nothing I currently own from Tumi nor anything I purchased in the past. Furthermore, I rarely write & submit 1 star reviews.....not my style. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Soft touch and light weight.

Can't believe I paid full retail for this case at Best Buy. But even at retail, this case is still worth it specially if you're a TUMI enthusiast. This case is very simple but feels just like any TUMI accessories. It's well made and the workmanship is flawless. I like that it comes with a two year warranty. They will even cover shipping cost during the first year. This leather folio snap case has a couple of card slots but I won't be needing it. Bought my grey colored case to protect the glass screen. The case itself is hard plastic but wrapped in high quality leather so it's smooth to touch. The middle part of the leather is smooth but leather towards the edge is stamped. The sides are wrapped with a synthetic material that feels a little rubbery, which gives it a secured grip. What I don't like about this case is that the bottom is not protected at all. It's cut a little shorter than it should. That means, if you drop your phone bottom first, it will most likely get damaged. Also, it doesn't have any magnets to keep the cover closed. These two negatives are not big issues for me since I haven't dropped any iPhones since owning my first one in 2011. But for those looking to fully protect their phone, you might have to think twice before buying this case. For me, I like the added screen protection and its simplicity.
