Mirro A797SA Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick Cookware Set, 10-Piece, Black

This is a good buy for under $50.00. The pieces have good weight and are well made. The handles are awesome, giving a firm non-slip well balanced grip. The covers have a vent hole and are sturdy. That they don't fit the frying pans seems like a baseless complaint to me. I don't use covers when frying anyway. The set looks great and cleans up easily. Heat distribution is good aswell. The heavier weight of these seems to distibute the heat better than most. As far as the non-stick surface complaints from some other reviewers, all I can say to them is buy some cast iron sets and age them properly. Maintaining a non-stick surface of any kind is a bit more work but will pay off in the long run for the ease of cleanup. I have bought the cheapest of non-stick sets and used them for years. It just takes a little common sense. And it helps if you are the only one cooking on them.. I would reccommend this set to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much.

I purchased this product after reading the reviews posted. I was looking for a set of cookware which would fit my needs and this does just that! I've owned Mirro products before and have been happy with them, and I can honestly say the same about these. In fact, I've just ordered another set for my son! I especially like the rubber grip on the handles, they make it so much easier to hold the pots and pans while cooking! I have a bit of osteoarthritis and these are a heaven sent! And, the handles do not get hot! I do recommend these to anyone who want a great set of cookware at a decent price. They're not Martha Stewart or Gordon Ramsey, and not even Teflon, but for the price they can't be beat.

The pans are wonderful. I have had these for a while and they are still nonstick! The spatulas are not that great because they peel after using them a few times.

It is a nice set. Pretty sturdy, infact, stronger than I was expecting. Like the utensils, too. The only thing is I ordered the red set, but received the black. But that is no big deal. Good purchase!

I bought the 12 inch sauté pan first to see the quality of the pan and to test it's non-stick capabilities. I was impressed first by the weight of the pan.....and then by it's non-stick coating. Everything truly slides right out. After testing my 12 inch pan for a month......I bought the rest of the set. This set does not include the 12 inch sauté pan which is why I bought that one first.A lot of people complain about non-stick surfaces breaking down or flaking off. I think this is because a lot of people cook at higher heats then they need to. I don't cook at heats over medium when using my non-sticks......for higher temps I use my cast iron pans. I would expect this set of non-sticks to last 10 to 20 years.

The large pot was dented so the top doesn't fit properly

This replaced the same set I used and liked for ten years. The price was right, makes cooking easy and quick to cleanup. These are not cheaply made pots and pans.

Pans are easy to clean, but when I use them, the metal part connecting the handle and the pan heats up a lot and the plastic like material starts to burn and create an awful smell. It’s toxic and it’s a shame because I thought these would be good affordable pans to have.
