Used on 2005 18.5HP Troy Bilt Bronco lawn tractor.
Battery would not stay charged. Wanted to also change the voltage regulator but couldn’t locate where typically located. Learned that the diode integral to the alternator harness also acts as the voltage regulator!Also changed the battery solenoid located in back of the battery compartment.Alternator and electrical connection fit perfectly and we’re up and running again!Troy Bilt tractor model 31P777 0293E1 031114ZE

A must have if Your charging system quits!
The Alternator was a direct bolt on, I had to replace Mine because the charging system quitand I needed to recharge My Garden Tractor battery during times when I had to refuel or clean themower deck otherwise I lacked electrical power for Tractor ignition and Electric Clutch engagement.

Had a heck of the time getting my engine apart but the part installed easily and got the battery charging again.
