These floorboards appear identical to the Indian brand but without the cast-in logo. I really would've preferred to purchase the name brand item, but $330 versus $100? That kind of thing smacks of corporate greed, and as it took over $1200 to get a quality rear suspension and seat that matches the rest of the quality of the bike, I'm only spending big bucks on name brand items if I can't find an alternative. Like the $200 smoked turn signal/brake light set lolThe difference from pegs to floorboards in terms of comfort is ridiculous. I can't speak to their longevity, but they do appear to be cast aluminum and the pegs and pins provided were good quality (pegs appeared identical, the rings were a little nicer, even). I give 4 stars for ease of installation as it took some pounding to get them to slide into place after all the items were assembled, but the rubber gasket compressed properly as it was knocked into place, and the soft up and down feel of them with all the hardware is excellent. I see lots of people commenting the rubber gasket isn't necessary, but I would guess over time the paint and/or metal will wear and create clearance, leading to floppy/clinking floorboards. Don't do it! Do it the hard way and press those bad bois into place! In the long run, that juice is gonna be worth the squeeze.And also, they look sweet. :)

The foot plates are amazing quality, easy to install, Except! I had to grind down the sides of the bolt areas about 1/8th inch to get them to slide into the channel properly, with the washers provided, used a rubber mallet to softly tap them into place. Also, the "Indian" logo stickers fell off after riding, they didn't stick very well, I should have used alcohol wipes on the area before I put them on, or some epoxy. I purchased these floorboards for my new (to me) 2018 Indian Scout ABS motorcycle. The bike came with footpegs, but having been a Harley rider for many years I preferred the comfort of floorboards. The Indian dealerships wanted over $400 for the floorboards alone, not to mention installation cost. These floorboards are sturdy (I got the shiny black ones and seem well constructed. The boards come with a self-adhesive "Indian" logo that peels and sticks in place at the top of the board. (I crazy glued mine down) There are rubbery strips on the board so your feet won't slip off while riding. I used some 3M double-sided tape to stick the rubber strips down, however, as they didn't seem to adhere too well to the metal floorboard. Hubs had a little trouble installing the little "scrape pegs" on the floorboard bottoms because the black powder coating had messed up the threads making it difficult to screw them in. Hubs bought a tap to clean the threads and once that was done it was easier to locktite the pegs into place.

I was glad that it came with the metal indian decals to inser. Made a great touch. The fit is perfect. I seen a guy on YouTube that left the O-ring insert out because he said it was too big. The insert was a perfectly snug fit. Just needed a little extra pressure to get it in. Took only 10 minutes to remove the pegs and install the floor boards. No more having to balance my feet on begs. For a long ride, these are a game changer. Much more comfortable.

They fit and feel great. Those floor boards do and look great on the bobber.

Bought these floorboards for my 2015 Indian scout. They were too wide to fit the opening so I had to grind down a little see the picture. If you’re expecting plug and play, they’re not a perfect fit. That’s the reason for 3 stars. Other than that they are very sturdy and solid and 1/3 the price of OEM. I would buy again but if you aren’t up for a little work to make them fit then it’s something to consider.

The floor boards look great and where easy to get on the feel somach more comfortable in the standard pegs.
