Ultralight, slim, the ideal solution
I really love these. They are the most comfortable ultralight readers I have ever found, and I have several pairs. My only gripe is they come with only a thin, soft sleeve. If people are taking these fishing/camping, etc., they absolutely need a durable, rugged hardshell case of some sort. I had to get a third-party hardshell case. Developing an ultralight hardshell case specific to these would be brilliant. I always carry two pairs just in case. These are light enough and relatively inexpensive, so this is easy to do. The perfect ultralight reading glasses for camping.

Comfortable, durable and they work!
These glasses are meant to be worn a little lower on the nose than where regular glasses sit. Because of this the arch of the nose piece is made a little wider. As a former optician I can say the optics appear to be very good and accurate, although I don't have a lensometer to check that. They are lightweight and the temples are flexible and meant to wrap around the head, rather than bend down behind the ears. I would not try to heat and adjust them; they are not that kind plastic.I like being able to wear them on the top of my head when not in use. They rarely fall off. Having used this kind and brand for more than 10 years, I can say they are durable and scratch resistant. One pair can last 2 years or more. The only sign of aging I ever see, is peeling of a layer of plastic on the inside of the temples. Usually what happens to end their useful life is a broken temple.I recommend them for people who have had an eye exam and know they need reading glasses of the same strength in each lens and have no astigmatism.

Meh...
I didn't give it much thought, but I like to carry my readers up on my baseball cap constantly. With straighter arms like these they typically fall off and break. My fault for not thinking it through. I'll have to see how long these last. Otherwise they seem pretty cool so far. A bit spendy for a single piece, but reviews said they last forever.A year would be nice!Oh!!! The case has a sticky hangar thing that you have to remove and in the process it tears the neoprene case lining and renders the case pretty much useless.Kind of strange packaging technique to ruin something in such a way.Why not stick it on the outside of the case on the outer band label?Would I buy again,?Nope...based upon my initial impression vs. cost.

2025 Update: Rip Off. Do Not Buy!
2025 Update: When I bought my first pair in 2014 they were $9 and they were $11 for my most recent order of 6 pair. They remained a good value for those 10 years, but this gouging 64% increase changes a good value into a rip off. These glasses are by no means great optically. Clear vision is limited to the center of each lens and you can rarely get them to sit squarely on your face, but at $11 the imperfections were tolerable. At $18 there are hundreds of better options!2018: I first bought these at a fly shop in 2014 and found them on Amazon when I needed a replacement in 2016. Bought 6 more in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and will by 6 more in 2023 (I guess COVID extended their lifetime). They are perfect for fishing because they are extremely light, easy to put on and remove with one hand, and the neoprene case can be attached to a "zinger" so they are always handy.

LOVE THESE READERS
Lightweight and incredibly clear for poly (plastic). They are surprisingly durable and at an almost fair price. Should probably be more like $5 but they're not. Only reader's I use now.

Light and minimal
These are so very light and comfortable. I started wearing them about 15 years ago and don't want to use any other readers. I love the minimalist look and the distortion-free vision. They don't scratch easily. I get lots of compliments on them. They may look fragile but I've had pairs that have lasted years...until I lose them.

Easily adjustable.
I bought these glasses primarily because of the side pieces. The gently curving shape makes adjusting the glasses comfortably on my nose easy. The lense shape is great for reading and the light weight adds to the comfort during long use.

As advertised
Light weight ( they hang on my nose most of the time) long temples so you can see over top of the lenses..the only real downside is the hinges are kinda week and prone to breaking ,if the improved the hinges I would go 4 stars
