Nice design, good size and love the remote!
Love this heater, and it has worked great! We live in AZ where, contrary to popular belief, it can get pretty cold in the Winter. My husband didn't want to turn on the whole house heating system, ( we get high enough AC bills in the Summer😉) but our bedroom was almost unbearable it was so cold. We have hardwood floors and a window that takes up about half of a 20x20 wall, so cold air is an inevitability. This heater has worked great since we got it, and I LOVE that it is automatic (keeps the temp regulated within 2 degrees of setting and turns on/off on its own) and that it has a remote! My only complaint is that we have 3 pets (that like to lay next to it) and I have noticed that the filter needs cleaned more frequently than I'd like. Not so much of an issue, however if the filter needs cleaned, the heater will turn on suddenly and run for about 3 seconds, then shut off... It'll do this every 10 minutes or so until you clean the filter or turn it off. No biggy, except in the middle of the night when you constantly hear it go on and off and have to do something right then or continue to have interrupted sleep.Other than that, no problems! I am actually thinking about getting another one for our guestroom, since the animals do not go in there and I think it would be nice for our guests to get to control the room temp as well!

It's been about two weeks now and I can say without a doubt that I LOVE THIS HEATER
I have been a huge fan of Lasko, and had originally set out to purchase a different model of a heater from Amazon. The model I wanted was out of stock, so went with this as another option from the same company. It's been about two weeks now and I can say without a doubt that I LOVE THIS HEATER!!!I'm using it in my basement that is partially finished. I didn't want to keep cranking the basement furnace up so high that it was impossible to be comfortable in other rooms that were completed, while feeling a bit too cold in others. With the space not being completed, and on poured concrete, you can imagine that it gets a bit chilly down here. For my relaxation room, this was a heater that went beyond my expectations for maintaining the temperature. What I love about it the most? It's hard to say! I am thrilled with the remote and its functions. I am SOOO happy that I went with a version that has the oscillating function to allow heat distribution at a better flow throughout the space. I also love the fact it was not some short device, but nice and tall like their pedestal fans. Another key point is that it does not run constantly! Once it reaches the temperature setting you provide, it will shut off and on to maintain that level just like any other full functioning heating system.I would buy again for sure.

The Price is Height
I bought this expecting the extra vertical height to deliver the heat at a more direct level. Which it kind of does but that design is a compromise which doesn't offer a great benefit. The design gives you the impression that the front fascia is mostly a heat output area but that's a lie. What they've done is taken a typical 1500W wide-type heating element and just stretched it vertically, so the actual area of output is through a 1 inch vertical gap between the center three fins. The lower quarter of the design is for the fan intake too so don't consider that part of the heating element. What this means is the heat delivery is a very narrow area of effect and you have to be standing within about three or four feet to feel it on your skin. In fact the output even on high is not very hot at all. On the plus side it means the casing remains cool to the touch on all sides, in fact you could actually put your hand over the opening and leave it there. A hair dryer has a hotter output and at high speed this unit sounds about the same as a hair dryer so it needs to be at a distance. Low speed is more tolerable. The remote is useful in that it has an LCD feedback display for temperature and fan setting but is very cheaply made with loose, cheap feeling buttons. The main unit fares better but it is not one of Lasko's better quality products. If you want to slowly heat a small room then this would probably work, but for medium to large rooms the output will not provide instant heat and be in constant use trying to automatically maintain your set temperature.

Terrific heater
This heater is very warm and it projects the heat very well. We use it to supplement the heat in our living room. It is 28 degrees outside but we're at 74 degrees comfortably on our couch!I had a a Lasko fan that I used for white noise when I worked third shift and it lasted for 10 years. When it finally quit I went out and bought another Lasko that was similar to the old one. Now I have two lasko heaters and love both of them and I'm sure I'll get good service from them as well.

Nice heater, annoying beep when buttons are pressed!
I got this to use in our bedroom in the winter (so we didn't have to use the central heat and keep the whole house warm). This was replacing a Bionaire of about the same size. The Bionaire lasted about 6 years, and it warmed up the room faster. I do like that the front of this one doesn't get hot (like the metal screen on the Bionaire did) as we have a 13 month old toddling around this year. She hasn't touched it, and hopefully won't, but it's nice that if she does it won't burn her instantly. The biggest drawback of this heater is that it beeps loudly every time you push any button. Annoying when you're trying to make adjustments with someone sleeping in the room. It was so annoying I looked up how to disconnect the beeper, but didn't feel like dismantling the unit to get to it. I thought about returning it the beep is so annoying. Overall, it's a nice little heater minus the beeping.

Yep. Just as I thougt
I had one like this for a few seasons and then I gave it to someone that needed it more than me. I gasped when I couldn't find a tall tower such as this to replace it... but then after searching. This heater actually seems to be better than the other one. I don't recall the other having two modes of heat - that is a "warm" and a "hot". I keep it on "hot" and am pleased. The digital thermostat works as expected and it cuts off when it has reached the temperature I put it at. I pleased.

Podría ser mejor
Funciona correctamente, sin embargo no me satisfizo completamente ya que tarda demasiado en subir un par de grados la temperatura de una sala pequeña.
