Use it to double the RAM of my laptop in 2017.

Put in new Acer Inspire notebook. Works well. Probably could have gotten away with using regular Crucial but this Ballistix was not much more in cost.

Just installed this in my new Acer E 15 E5-575-33BM...OMG what a difference!!!!!! Start up and shut down in seconds...programs run super fast now...I'm so happy! I was not happy with my laptop, not at all, thought about returning it, but not now. Try this if you bought the same super slow laptop, the $350 Acer E 15. This WILL make it a very nice laptop, I was skeptical, but it truly made the laptop awesome!!!EDIT: Also...installing this is as simple and quick as can be!! Plenty of great vids out there to guide you...took me less than 5 minutes to do the entire thing.

Ram is pricey now but this works well and doubled the RAM in my wife's laptop to 8GB DDR4. Paired with a NVME drive and the latest generation i3 processor her laptop flies. As always, wipe out the factory installed version of W10 and download the latest .iso from the MS website. W10 stores the MAC address of every activated motherboard in the cloud now so no key required to do this. However, if you are using a gaming laptop (why are you gaming on a laptop vs a more capable desktop?), you'll want faster Ram than this.

Ballistix Sport LT 4GB DDR4 2400: added 1 stick when I got my Laptop, because it only had 4GBs of Crucial in it and the Ballistix was on sale. Then added a second stick of Ballistix later on. Can't believe how much it increased the speed on my computer. The computer is up and running in no time and I have not had any issues with it at all. Would diffidently recommend to my friends as a good memory to buy.

It worked well for the first couple of days when it shipped but later on the ram kept giving me boot loops and to the point I had BSOD from time to time. I thought it was my laptop at first (I have the Acer Aspire E5 575g) but when I tried removing the Ballistix ram, my computer worked smoothly again. For the people who are reading this, I think it’s best to buy two identical rams together instead of mixing and matching rams.

Got this for my Acer to bump it from 4 GB to 8 GB Ram and, being faaar from computer savvy, it was easy breezy and the computer is performing much faster. I also installed a SSD on it also for better speed. Had them all for almost 2 years and still cruising great!
