Very comfortable and snug fit
These were a bit of a pain to get on due to it being a very snug fit but they have remained securely affixed and are a much nicer more comfortable grip. If you have one of the Mark 3's with that thumb-rest wing thing like I did, this is a GREAT improvement.

My LAST Pachmayr Product Purchase!!!
When I spend a generous amount of money for a product that probably costs maybe $4-5 dollars to produce, and it DOES NOT COME WITH THE SCREWS to make that product usable, I am not happy. It would have cost Pachmayr at most 40 cents to include 4 grip screws that are LONG ENOUGH to secure this grip to the gun. My stock Ruger MKIII screws didn't even grip the first thread, let alone screw in at all.I wrote their customer service and got a response that if I liked, I could spend my money, and wait a few weeks, and send them the grip and they would "work on it" to make it usable. As expected, they offered some excuse that Ruger was using different screws now and then --- thus the problem. NO ---- the problem is that they KNEW THIS and still DID NOT send me 40 cents worth of tiny screws to make a product work out of the box, that had a very high chance of not being usable. This is NOT why I spent so much, and this is irresponsible on behalf of Pachmayr. When I went back and read the reviews, I see others had the same problem, and reviews on other sites echoed this problem. It is my fault that I was in a hurry that day and didn't read the great reviews here at Amazon. I won't make that mistake again. While I could, it is not my job to work on an expensive product to re-work some tolerances and make their product usable!! Plus, if one thins the contact area for the screw, this weakens that area and makes the grip more prone to failure.Funny that the Pachmayr screw kit available here for $30 or so, ALSO DID NOT have a screw to remedy this problem. Pachmayr struck out two times, gave me a headache, and REFUSED following my request to simply send me 4 slightly longer screws to fit the Ruger that would make all this have a happy ending.I will not purchase products from a company that has proven itself this uncaring about the customer experience, despite spending plenty of money for their product. I consider this a slap in the chops, and I am DONE with Pachmayr.UPDATE 7-15-2013:I sent that Pachmayr back and rcvd my Hogue 82060. It fits the Ruger MKIII very well though it appears it is only for the MKII, and is by FAR a nicer grip, very grippy bumpy rubber and NOT hard thin plastic like the Pachmayr, and a better fit for man size hands. It was also only 2/3 the cost of the Pachmayr, and had a nice tight fit WITH the factory screws!! This one is a keeper!! :)

Quality grips at a good price point
I put these grips on my Ruger MKII 5.5" target model as part of the upgrades I made to it. They fit my medium size hand (size 9.5) well. Very good feel and control of the pistol with these grips. Installation was very easy and fit was excellent. Highly recommend for someone looking for replacement grips at a good point.

No install instructions or advice
Nice grips but:1) Factory grip screws won't work unless excess and uneven rubber flash is removed, and even then a mounting hole may strip out b/c so little thread contacts--longer screws are not provided2) The grips are very stiff -positioning them and getting the too short screws started is very difficult. Again, no helpful tips provided--I learned later that heating the grips to soften and make more flexible probably helps. I'll try that after I repair the damage, since one of the screws popped out while shooting recently !!

good feel, had problems
Note that there is a small piece of paper in the packaging telling to screw from left grip first, then push. I did not see this until after I mangled my grips. I did get them on out of box with no modifications, but it was difficult. The grips did feel good and helped my shooting, but I encountered problem shortly with slide release hangup or engaging from bump. I tried to fix this myself afterwards. I am not a gunsmith. I can use hand tools competantly. The grips are reinforced with metal. I trimmed the left grip down to clear slide release. Just didn't like the way it looked when I was done. Took them off. MAYBE if I had seen the little note on first install there may have been no issue, but there is a lot of material there. The grips really felt good in the hand, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. However if they had to add a little extra note to the package, there is obviously an issue that can be very technique sensitive.

Much more comfortable grips than stock, high quality
The original grips on my Ruger were made of a hard plastic with a diamond plate pattern, very abrasive and made exponentially worse by any amount of shifting or recoil. I decided to upgrade to Pachmayr Grips, without any prior personal experience with the brand, anything have been better than the originals.I certainly wasn't disappointed with these grips, much easier on the hands and more ergonomic. The rubber/plastic is very high quality and very non abrasive without sacrificing grip.Unfortunately, after following all the directions with installing them (screw order, etc) one of my screws still fails to line up. With only 3/4 screws holding it in I have not had any problems with 100+ rounds through it though, still -1 star for that.Overall, I really like these grips and recommend them; comfortable, reliable, and a definite upgrade from stock.
