It doesn’t affect the feel of your hair negatively . If anything it makes it silky. Only use sparingly, you don’t need much at all. Squirt a pea size blob in your hand, rub hands together to disperse & then gently pull hands over the hair. I pull my fingers through as well. Does not need to be washed out.
