Fits well, works perfectly, use Lithium batteries going forward.
I found my old Fluke 189 in a box of books while cleaning out my garage after 15+ years of storage. Needless to say, the Alkaline batteries had done a thorough job of corroding and dissolving the contacts. Biggest issue was removing the salt with white vinegar, rinsing thoroughly, and drying. The old contacts were a bit of a pain to remove, but a small dental pick helped. The new contacts fit perfectly, and the meter now works like new. Highly recommend you try, not much to lose. This time, will be using Lithium batteries which do not corrode like Alkaline.

Meter battery connectors
This took a while to come in. I replaced them in my Fluke meter. It fit correctly and worked as new. No complaints and no concerns and if you were forced to use the company's junk batteries which leak acid you will find these as good replacements.

With some work of cleaning up the acid from the old leaky batteries and these new parts . We were to repair a$550. Fluke meter.Put a reminder in your phone to change your batteries every three years if you don’t use your meter often!!!

Give them a good cleaning before installing.
They fit fine, but when I put the new batteries in, it still wasn't powering on. Measuring voltage across the batteries gave a zero reading. Yet each battery measured fine. And one battery started to heat up so much that I couldn't touch it for about 20 minutes.I cleaned them with alcohol with no change. Only after a soak in vinegar did the they pass voltage. So, some of the contacts must have some kind of coating on them. The meter works just fine now.Give them a good cleaning before using.

They work for the Fluke 789 process meter
These contacts are the same as the Fluke brand, but at a fraction of the price. I know because I replaced the broken factory battery contacts in my Fluke 789 process meter.
