5x Trackball For Blackberry Curve 8300 8310 8320 8330

This set of 5 replacement trackballs were just what I needed for our Blackberry 8330s (we have 4 of them). My Blackberry is very heavily used and I have already gone through two trackballs and at least one of the other Blackberry devices have begun to act sluggish. Since it seems that this is going to be a regular occurrence, a set of 5 trackballs seemed like a good investment.These are decent quality and the colors are nice for variety. The included "opening tool" (looks like a guitar pick) is just about worthless for removing the silver retaining ring, so I just used a utility knife point to pop it out. Once the retaining ring is off, just pop out the old one, put in the new one, and replace the retaining ring (use the original or one of the included replacements).These are a fairly inexpensive way to self service your Blackberry. I decided to try this first before taking it to the Sprint store to fix, so likely saved a lot by doing it myself.Recommended!CFH

I got these because the trackball of my Blackberry 8300 was sticking. And I thought the colors would be cool.This seller got the package to me quickly, and everything was there. I tried out a few of the colors, and the trackballs move nice and smoothly. Maybe not quite as fluid as a trackball on a brand new Blackberry, that is why I took away one star. But I've had no problems so far. And they were easy to install. I've instaled trackballs before, but for someone who has never done this before, you use the included "guitar pick"-like tool they send to gently pry out the silver retaining ring, take out the old trackball, place the new trackball in the slot, and snap a new ring into place. It's realy easy and takes just a couple minutes.For the mechanically disinclined, maybe 5 minutes.This is a good replacement for a good price.

Ordered these to replace the original trackball on my Blackberry. The colors are vibrant and very nice. The trackballs seem well made and sturdy. The problem with this set is the cheapness of the silver casings that go around the trackball. They have a total of 8 little "teeth" that hook into the Blackberry to keep your trackball connected. When I received mine, all of the casings had at least one or more of the teeth already broken off, with some missing all of them (likely due to bad quality and sub par packaging or handling). This makes the casing useless. The one casing that had most of the teeth left I used for my Blackberry. Within a couple of days, I could feel the casing loosening because more teeth were breaking off inside, just due to normal use. By a week in, one of the teeth had broken off and found its way under my screen. I was unable to get it out, so it would just float around in the screen. All in all, the trackballs are great, but the casings are horrible, so I would recommend the trackballs, but use other casings.

My CrackBerry trackball suffers from greasy fingers, exposure to elements, and all kinds of crap. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Actually, what did it in was my feeble attempt to clean it. I took it a part, cleaned the little magnetic bits, put it back together and managed to cram it back in place. The ball worked better but was oriented 90 degress off! Argh...Then I looked on Amazon for a replacement was was dismayed to find they were only $2-$3 a piece. After reading the reviews, I noticed that some balls are inferiors. So I ordered this five pack. If one gets clogged, I've got more!Replacing was easier with the little blue tool. It popped out the retaining ring. I replaced the trackball and tried to replace the retaining ring. The "legs" on these retaining rings are a thinner metal. It's hard to line the legs up properly. Fortunately, my original retaining ring still worked fine. I used it.My CrackBerry is now fixed and the trackback glows green! I love cheap replacement parts!

The five trackballs arrived by mail in less than a week. Choose one of the trackballs and installed it, then like other reviewers have stated, none of the silver rings would hold it in so I used my old black one and everything worked perfectly. I can't really complain because it was so cheap (basically the cost of shipping & handling).and I have 4 trackballs left over which I will probably never use.I don't regreat the purchase but it would have been better if the rings would have worked.

My blackberry trackball went bad so I ordered from Amazon. I got a new trackball from someone else and it lasted about 2 weeks before it was sketchy. then ordered on amazon again. Waited a week and found out it wasnt shipped because it wasnt in stock when it said it was. they NEVER told me.So I decided to look at trackballs with good reviews. This company had pretty good review but I saw that someone said the trackballs were textured a bit. Well that makes the difference. The smooth trackballs will get your natural oils from your hand and make the trackball not track well. These textured balls make ALL the difference.So pay attention to reviews and get from these guys. Great colors and they actually work!

I am so pleased with my recent purchase from Eforcity. I lost the trackball to my Blackberry (8330) and took it to my phone carrier. The tech wanted to charge me $99 for him to replace this part. I was so upset. Then, I searched for the trackball and this item from Eforcity appealed to me. This was my first time purchasing from Eforcity. So, I read other reviews by other customer who were very satisfied with their products and service. I step out on faith and I am so happy I did. I received the product within 4 days of my order. The packaging was nice and more importantly the trackball works wonderfully.

This is way better than buying an OEM trackball, plus it looks way cooler! I have a blue trackball in my blackberry right now and when the LED behind the trackball lights up the whole trackball glows blue. Lovely. The only thing I don't like is that some of the rings that came in the package were already broken, good thing there is 5!
