How do I get this charger to charge the computer when it's on? It only charges if the computer is turned off.

I ordered this same 200W charger and it charges my laptop just fine while in use. you may have a problem with your battery?

I don't see the hp logo on the adapter pictures here and "geniune" is spelled wrong ("geniun"). is this a fake non-hp adapter??
