Great Scooter- even though battery life claim isn't accturate-
The KS5 is great. I weigh 225 lbs, I am getting around 8 miles of range..I use this to commute to work in San Francisco... so in flat ground i max out at 30 km/h or 18 mph.... and on hills it slows down a little but.I don't use the app, so i can't comment on that. I don't change to standard vs metric.... so i can't comment on that... but you don't really need any of those things to hop on the scooter and go .This is a great scooter to just hop and and let 'er rip.... It's rugged, i'm not worried about it breaking.. the shock is nice to have.and it goes very fast. i go 2 miles to work in 10 minuites.. then i fold it up and carry it inside and stash it under my desk.

Dissatisfied customer, poor customer service
Only had it four months May 07,2023. The cover on the bottom is plastic. I came off a sidewalk pretty roughs a few time. I noticed it was coming apart. Thought I was getting the name brand on Amazon it cost $54 didn't care name brand replacement I'm good.took 15 days to get . What you expect coming from China.thats not what bothers me . The damn thing not even close to fitting . It's thicker where the screws go in and it's longer. I tried reaching customer service. And not a DAMN THING. the page clearly says fits Yadea ks5 . Can't get two screws in front to go in I put a/C ducting tape covering all the bottom in case screws come loose.gonna drive it til I can't no more the put it on the street for someone to steal it. My word of advice research the brands that have extra parts give customer service a trail run even if you haven't bought it .if they don't respond before you buy that should give reality checked. This next part really sucks Amazon won't let you summit until you count yours .fine at least give us a ZERO STAR option it's only fair. I paid $488 as far as that goes it's paid for itself $100 gas every week but haven't driven sense May my tags been expired. So , zero stars I diffinely will not by any Yadea brand again. Funny thing I doubt they give two shots. Crew my ounce that's OK won't give you another chance.

Great scooter
The scooter was easy to assemble and it really zips. It comes in a lot of great colors and the lights including headlight and tail light are great safety features. I look forward to many days using the scooter

Scooter’s motor broke down after 1 year 5 months
I really loved my scooter, and I rode it to my work every day. I wish there's an easy way to reach the customer representative when the scooter needs repair. The motor broke down all of a sudden and I barely make it back home when it happened. I submitted a request on Yadea’s website asking for repair on the broken motor. It's been over a month since I submitted the request, but no one reach out yet.

Solid commuter, battery not as expected
Fun to ride. Quick acceleration, good power on inclines but slight drop in speed. Unlike some other scooters, the battery drain is consistent and does not fluctuate after using the first 2 bars. The app displays battery percentage remaining which is helpful.Brakes are responsive. Front and rear and electronic brakes feel secure. Front shocks help reduce road vibration though the ride is not as smooth as pneumatic tires. Still a comfy ride.Single button is easy to use and simple to navigate. I wish there was a memory function on the scooter or a one-touch “favorite settings” feature on the app. It only takes a few seconds manual enter my settings but a one-touch or memory feature would be nice.The aluminum body feels solid and the stem is a square tube which feels more secure than the cylindrical ones when locking in place. Wheel spokes are too small to slip my kryptonite chain lock through so I lock it through the front shocks and engage the wheel lock on the app.My only real gripe is the battery life. Great for short I get about 9 miles on slightly hilly (5°-10°) urban terrain at max speed. The 25 mile range is probably only on flat roads and at the lowest speed.

Lemon, E0 code right from the start. Return this scooter.
Bought this scooter, the light blue one was so pretty and unique. Unfortunately it had E0 code from the start. I called to get support but it was in fixable. So I was advised by amazon to return it, so I did. Got a second Yadea as my replacement and it was physically damaged (the neck had bad scratched up paint, and rear reflector was broken and crumbling into pieces) despite it was new. Returned that one too. Now I have a 3rd new scooter but this time NOT from Yadea. Two bad Yadea scooter was one too many for me. Unfortunate that happened. I was surprised I had two bad scooters from Yadea. I was so hopeful since the Yadea looked so impressive but it was so disappointing both times for different reasons.

Bad customer service
The escooter can’t charge anymore after 2 weeks. The power charger not even light up. Call customer service, email customer service. It took two weeks back and forth to ship out a replacement charger.Missed the deadline to return back to Amazon. Ok. Just wait for it.Received a OEM charger, which is different model. And a smaller 1.5 amp vs 2.0 amp ( the original charger). That is fine. Tried it. Don’t work. The light in the charger not even light up. The same problem like before.Now, I am stuck with the out of battery escooter. Can it enjoy the short summer in Chicago.Very disappointed purchaseKC
