I purchased this to add a monitor to my laptop. The monitor performs as described and easily hooks up to the laptop or my cell phone. The monitor comes with cables for HDMI, USBC, and USB as well as a power plug for when the monitor can't pull enough power from the main unit it is connected to. There are built in speakers, so you may end up needing to tell your computer which sound output you want prioritized, but that is a relatively minor setting change.The in box cover is magnetic in nature, so the monitor can pop off if it's bumped or pushed around too much, but I haven't had an issue with it. Display has good color and light output for a secondary monitor, but it doesn't go as high definition as the laptop screen. That's to be expected, so I'm not complaining, just commenting.Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Great screen, easy to use, colors are great and has good picture quality and sharpness. Weights barely 1 lb. Once you get this screen. Email the company with your personal address and they give you one free item for the screen of your choice. I picked the metal screen stand and the next day I received the free holder. Great product and company.

I wanted to wait before providing a review of the monitor. The quality & build of many of the electronic devices online are suspect, especially the ones without brand recognition. Giving it time in a real world application long after the return date, provides a more complete picture of the product, in my opinion, than a review of the product from someone who is going through the honeymoon phase of a new gadget.Working Scenario:The monitor has been my 2nd travel monitor for work and for pleasure. It has been in my bag, "tossed" in the car, gone through airport security, and shows some wear & tear around the edges (picture). So far, it has held up and I am impressed. I don't game, so won't be able to comment on its performance with respects to gaming. However, for simple graphic editing, reading, spreadsheet work, watching videos etc., it has been great.Pro:* 2nd monitor increases productivity.* Has held up from near daily use without issues.* Has built in speakers (my laptop speakers are weak).* One cable for video & power (USB-C) quick note, not all USB-C cables pass both AV and power. Most of the cheap ones you find online are data and/or power only.* Comes with needed cables.* Has screen protector that acts as a stand.* Has 2 holes that can be used for mountingCon:* Screen protector stand only allows landscape mode* Although you can orient the screen in portrait mode, the buttons on one side and the ports on the other side get in the way. Portrait mode is only really feasible with a stand or on a mount.The screen does add weight to your travel bag but for me that's not a pro or a con, just the price to be paid for an increase in productivity. I've been happy with it.Lastly, I reached out the the seller about a question I had and they were prompt in response, and even followed up months afterwards to see if I had any other questions. Great customer service.

Picked this up on Prime Days just to see how it would work for me as an extra monitor with my various PCs/devices and have to say I'm very impressed. For under $85 you get a 15.6" 1080p monitor that can be run off the correct USB-C port; which means if you have a mini PC, you can use a single cable to power your monitor.This monitor also has VESA mounting holes on the back, so you could use this to mount a MiniPC to the back of it.The included case is really nice, and attaches magnetically, with a trifold design that doubles as a stand.The one drawback is that the ports for the monitor are on the opposite side to the control button and headphone jack, so making the monitor in portrait mode without a VESA stand or some other kind of prop is difficult. Right angle adapters or USB C cables would help, but it doesn't eliminate the issue.As far as the screen goes, it seems to be very good - no real ghosting of images - and seems to be plenty bright for most applications. I've tried gaming on it using a Series X Xbox, my PC and a Series S Xbox. All decent and no major worries. You're not using it for competitive gaming, this is for casual fun.Watching videos, using it for work - it all works well - again, if the USB-C port you're using can provide power and video. Otherwise, you have to use 2 cables and it's still a bit of a cable jumble - but nothing outside of what you'd expect with other monitors.Great value.
