EZHUSKYDMG16 - EZVIZ Outdoor 1080p Wi-Fi Dome Camera w/PoE+6GB SD (IFTTT/Alexa)

The camera has a good heft in your hand as it is of metal (aluminum) and looks well built, inside and out. The video image, day and night, is good.The EZVIZ app is good as I use it with another 4 camera system I have of the same brand. My difficulty was with the WiFi connectivity with which I could not establish a connection after many tries. Verified maximum WiFi signal with my cell phone at the same exact position as the camera.An ethernet connection is not a possibility right now,for me and suppose that would work.This was a an enclosed front porch location and perhaps there is some other factor in this problem as I like the brand and support.

Great camera! I have this installed to view my driveway and the front of the house. I will use two more to see most of the property and a third with PTZ to monitor the front door. Excellent resolution for the price, Be aware that installing there near lights has a very negative effect on the IR viewing at night. Not the fault of the camera at all, just the fact the light defeats the ability of the camera to "see" better at night. I LOVE that all I do is install a POE injector in the line to the camera and I do not need a power source to the camera, plus the fact that it is a wired connection means it is not dependent on my wireless router!

This works fine. Don't expect it to move - it doesn't. There are higher quality options out there for less now. Wife wants more for the front yard and I'm buying Amcrest brand instead. Nothing wrong with the camera, software, or anything - just a bit over priced compared to competition at this point.

When I saw this camera and read about all the features that it had, I was super excited about it. However, after installing it and spent 3 hours and another hour with EZVIZ tech support I was done. I'm a IT geek by trade, I've got other IoT devices scattered around my house which take min minutes to setup. This was not one of those devices. I could NOT get this thing to stick with my wifi. I've tried both the ways they recommended, I've even called their tech support and they sent me instructions on other ways to fix the problem, and none of them worked. If it takes that long to setup a camera, I've got to give it the lowest.I've also changed my router settings to 20mhz on a 2.4 network as I read some articles that talked about that, yep tried it rebooted the router a few times and nothing. It just seems like the wifi component just didn't work. I also wasn't satisfied with the technical support, they didn't seem like they wanted to help you out.

Normally you expect dome cameras to have PTZ control. This one does not. You must turn the camera in the housing by hand to point in the direction you want to view. Then you mount it and you're limited to that single angle.

Bought two of these to go with the EZViz security system I already had. One has NEVER worked, except indoors, 5 feet from the base unit. The other worked for a couple of days, then quit. Tech support no help.I have significant issues with the EZVIZ systems anyway, now that I have a second security camera system. Biggest: these cameras either detect every motion out there (and I do mean every--a blowing leaf, insect, dust mote...) Or nothing at all. So unless you're only interested in live view, or in laboriously watching every second of footage to see when the inteuder showed up, they're pretty useless.But these cameras are even worse, since all they seem to show is "offline."

I wanted a camera that turns automatically but this one turns manually. Also the range is not as far as it is projected to be

I’m told this is not what it was advertised to do!Motion activated. Pan, tilt . Outside cameraPhone app controlled?!?! Is there other cords etc I need to order? I thought it was complete! Hired a man to install for me, it still is in the box,Because he says it’s dtationery and not motion activated!!!

I own the mini , and this unit is really disappointing compared to it. It is a hard view, and you can not change the view without getting up on a ladder , taking it apart , and moving it. The screw end stripped , and won't come out now, as If the power goes out , you need to climb up there and reset it. I wanted this unit out on the garage , but even with a purchased extender, the signal was not strong enough for video , 100' away. I walked to the door , and the range was only 40'.

Had a hard time getting a clear picture. Had the protective bone off and on many times. Kept getting a shadow or haze… Picture was clear with it off and not when on. Also had hard time to get it to recognize the sad card. Works fine in the end.

En general la cámara es muy buena, yo la tengo conectado con un router ORBI y aun así de repente tiene problemas, es mejor si la van a tener conectada con cable (ethernet) la calidad es excelente y es muy buena si la tienen a la intemperie, relación calidad - precio de maravilla
