Beautiful Bike Bottle Cage
Previously I purchased a Pro Bike Tool tire pump for my bicycles. There are so many of these available it’s hard to know which will work best for your needs so I randomly selected this brand. It works so well that when I decided to get bottle cages I searched on Amazon and found these which are also made by Pro Bike Tool. They are precisely as described, very light weight, they have attachment fasteners included, are finished beautifully and hold my water bottles securely. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great quality, great looking bottle cage.I have to add a bit more. The Pro Bike tire pump I bought came with a bracket to mount it where a bottle cage would go. On my bike I have braze on mounts for the cages on the seat tube and head tube to the bottom bracket. The seat tube has a derailleur clamp between the braze ons which mandates a spacer under the cage. Well Pro Bike design engineers must have had their thinking caps on, the tire pump mount is manufactured in a way to clear the derailleur clamp and also provide the correct spacer distance for the bottle cage. I really appreciate it when there is such careful forethought in designing products and I give kudos to Pro Bike for this elegant, simple success!

Can be Hacked to Sit Lower on Frame
Some full-suspension mountain bikes don't allow for a larger water bottle because the water cage is mounted too high (probably for clearance for the rear suspension). On my bike (Trek Fuel EX 7), there's plenty of clearance for the suspension (even when compressed), such that the water bottle could sit lower. However, nobody seems to make a water bottle cage that sits lower. So, I found this one that has a solid back that I could drill a new mounting hole into, allowing the water bottle cage to sit about 1.5" lower, allowing for a larger water bottle. Now, I can easily fit a 33 oz. water bottle. The material was easy to drill through (seems like some aluminum alloy). The water bottle cage comes with low-profile screws. A low-profile screw is necessary if placing it at the top of the cage as I did, so it doesn't interfere with the water bottle. I backed the new hole with a rubber washer, since that part of the back plane doesn't rest flush on the frame.Aside from being "hackable", the cage seems to be well-made. The material is strong and relatively light-weight. The cage with screws weighs just 55 grams. My last cage (typical wire-frame aluminum) weighted 72 grams with screws. Unlike plastic cages, this one can be adjusted to hug the water bottle tighter (if you ride on rough terrain) or looser (if you ride road). You just need to pull the two tabs apart gently or squeeze them together to bend them a bit.Happy riding! Keep the rubber side down!

Packaging issue?
High quality. I ordered 2 of these water bottle holders which each came in a box but only one contained the 2 fasteners need for mounting.

Great!!
What can I say, it looks great and works even better! It’s easy to install and fits perfectly. It keeps the bottle sturdy throughout the whole ride. I’ve used different size bottles and they are all easy to remove from the water bottle holder. Great for the price, I definitely recommend!!

Holds stainless steel water bottle firmly over bumps.
My stainless steel wire cage would not hold my new stainless steel water bottle when going over bumps. This carbon fiber cage does a remarkable job--highly recommended. Carbon fiber, being very stable at different temperatures, should continue to do a great job holding the water bottle in place during the heat of the summer. One recommendation: the manufacturer recommends putting grease on the bolt threads. I'd recommend using thread lock (red) and tightening the bolt ever so slightly past finger tight. From my aviation experience, over-tightened carbon fiber can fail in a variety of ways. Given this is a product that should last a lifetime, not damaging the carbon fiber during installation would be advisable.

very sturdy but still slightly adjustable = perfect
I haven't had this long but am happy. I like metal as opposed to plastic wherever possible. I have the Nalgene On the Fly water-bottle (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043T9DKC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and at first I thought it wouldn't fit--too tight. Scraped it in and out with a lot of effort, leaving scratches on the bottle (no big deal, but not practical over and over). Then I realized I could just bend the metal "arms" that hug the bottle a bit and it was the perfect fit! So this is, like it says, slightly adjustable without losing any of its durability. I think it's perfect: metal is thin enough to adjust slightly by exerting hand pressure, but thick enough it's stout and reliable! I have no worries about losing a bottle or breaking the holder with this thing!! Easy to install on my bike, works great. Just took a look at what else Pro Bike Tool has to offer on Amazon and you'll notice most of their items are very highly-rated (4.5 or 5 stars). Seems like a great company making quality products!!

A bit too small but we'll built
This bottle holder is too small for anything bigger than a plastic bottle. It fits 16 OZ plastic bottles well, Gatorade bottles or those plastic sports bottle like Nike. BUT ... it will NOT fit / can't hold any metal insulated bottl3s such as Hydroflask, or Stanley type bottles. They are too thick for the holder.Otherwise it is build strong & looks decent.

Very nice bottle cage. Exceeded expectations.
I will say upfront I am a mechanical designer, and I design a lot of metal parts for various applications. I tend to look at items with a very critical eye because of what I do on a daily basis. I must say, I really like this bottle cage. The design is sleek and modern without being distracting. Material was removed to maximize the weight advantage without compromising strength. It is a lightweight metal, powder coated with a black finish that looks great on my orange and black bike (Raleigh Merit 2). Well made, excellent finish and easy to install. Because it is metal, should the finish get a little "beat up" over time, it can be repainted. My bike has 2 bottle holder mount locations on it, and I am seriously considering purchasing a second one. Nice Job everyone.
