I thought the case was pretty good; however, it ended up being too tight of a fit for my AKG K712 Pro to the point that the frame had to bend asymmetrically since I had to put them in somewhat angled, with the center of the frame toward one of the corners in order for them to fit with the least amount of pressure on them (still too much, in my opinion). In addition, the handle started to fray within two weeks with normal use (i.e., I didn't carry it too often or for long periods, was careful with it, and my hands aren't rough nor do they sweat much.). If it weren't for those two issues, I think I would have given it a 5-star rating, because, handle and size issue aside, it's a nice and sturdy case overall, albeit better suited for smaller sized headphones. I'm completely on board with the notion of having a snug fit so the headphones don't move or slide around in the case, but the fit was tighter than I was comfortable with subjecting my cans to. I ended up settling on Geekria's full size large headphone case, and it's perfect for my AKG listed above, Sennheiser HD 6XX, Audio-Technica ATH AD900, AD900X, and AD700:  Full Size Hard Shell Large Headphone Case for Over-Ear, DJ, Gaming Headphones / Headset Travel Bag with Removable Foam and Space for Accessories (See Description for Full Type List) (Black)

This case is medium grade and does it’s job. It does fit the AKG. It’s a very snug fit but for the price it’s good

Fits my Sennheiser HD 580 with cable attached and Philips x2hr & SHP9500 but without cable connected.I got the rubber coated one. Build and finish is good.Only issue is the bad smell that comes with it. Leave it open and let it air out for a week.Other than this issue, it is a great case for large headphones.

I recently purchased a Philips Fidelio X2HR headphone and was looking for a case to store them in. These headphones have larger than common ear pads and I needed a case that would fit them. This case does the trick. Nicely made for the cost and are just large enough to fit my Philips headphones. (barely!) The liner is nice and soft and includes a little pouch to store my cord and adapter plug. Now, onto the not so good part...it has to do with Amazon's very irregular shipping. I ordered these and was notified they would arrive in 4 days. No problem. Next day I was sent a updated notification stating my item would arrive earlier then expected. Instead it took 7 days to arrive after passing though the same local post office twice and accumulating "frequent flyer" miles. The shipping carton was open and damaged. C'mon Amazon you can do better then this!
