They are exactly as advertised. Perfect for those parties where you don't need broken glass or using plastic is just tacky. Took one star off though. A couple of years ago, I purchased very similar shot glasses, practically duplicates. They look identical. But these are made from a thinner metal and are actually a 1/2 millimeter shorter. So when the new set mixes with the old set, they don't stack correctly. These shot glasses totally fit into the older ones, so they don't stack right when mixed. Otherwise looking at them, they are completely indistinguishable. So unfortunately, because the manufacture is skimping on material, it's a 4 out of 5.

IF YOU DON'T TIGHTEN IT BY TWISTING IT AROUND THE CUP). *(I DIDN'T LIKE THAT) 😟 OTHERWISE; THE CUPS ARE WELL MADE... AND SAID TO HANDLE HOT AS WELL AS COLD DRINKS... (I HAVEN'T TRIED ANYTHING HOT YET)... THEY'RE MADE OF FOOD GRADE SILICONE... SO NO WORRIES... 🤗 BUT; THEY'RE A CHALLENGE TO CLOSE BACK INTO A COMPACT... (THE BEST WAY TO CLOSE THE CUP... IS TO PUSH THE MIDDLE IN FIRST... AND WORK YOUR FINGERS AROUND THE EDGES). I HOPE THIS TECHNIQUE HELPS YOU!!! I'LL BE ORDERING MORE... TO CARRY IN MY POCKETBOOK, BRIEFCASE ETC. *ALSO; THEY'RE EXCELLENT GIFTS!!! *BUY THEM!!! 👍

We took these cups with an immersion heater on a 75 mile walk from inn to inn. We always had a hot drink or broth or morning coffee at our fingertips. I gave one and the heater to our daughter while she worked in Brooklyn. She takes it on every international trip. I ordered replacement cups and returned them as they were small and flimsy. These are a bit heavy but they do not collapse under the weight of the heater when full of scalding water. I ordered a second set of these.

This was a little hard to open and slightly larger than what I thought. I ended up returning this because I would not use it in the end.

These go great with my electric kettle. They collapse down pretty small and are durable.
