Shires Equestrian Haylage Net

We've got 5 of these nets and they are enormous. 4 bags are used by 2 horses, and we fill them every 2 days with 24/7 access. We *could* stretch it to 3 days if we use a less liked hay. I bet you could get more hay in there if you don't fluff up the flakes to check for mold like we do. Holds up to an extremely playful young gelding, even when packed with his favorite hay. Good enough for me. Our newest mare destroyed a different full bay net 2 days after bringing her home, she's great with these, but maybe that's because she didn't have free access to unlimited hay before. These are my go to nets, but get a big bucket or clean trash can to drape it over or you're going to have an awful time filling it, especially multiple nets.

These simply are the best hay nets on the market. Thick,Strong, hold up well to daily use (This order was just to replace a few that I had given to a friend to keep/use. Ive had my other shires nets for 2-3 years and they have held up very well! I do have a horse who likes to nip his nets and he blows through cheaper made ones in less than a week. Not his shires net lol...you can see that he still nips it but he hasnt chewed 5" holes in them like some other brands)

I have had this for a year now and it has held up very well with 2 horses.

Get your horses to sloooow down when you use this hanging net to load with hay. You'll see minimal waste, slower feeding to replicate the slower way horses would eat in the wild. Go ahead and let them work a little for their hay. I've tried several different types of nylon nets, but these are the strongest and last the longest. I highly recommend.

So far my mustang hasn’t chewed through this net and she’s pretty aggressive when she’s going at it. The drawstring is quite tough as well. Less important but still happy with, it’s a nice vibrant blue!

You can put a lot of hay in it. Well made. My horse doesn't waste hay on count of the small holes. I would buy it again.

it doesnt close fully with a square bale of hay. it's built fine but not as large as i thought.
