Thinner than they use to be but still durable and my go to raingear
If you dont like those big yellow rubber raingear outfits that leave you wet from sweating in them and would prefer something lighter and easier to move around in these would be it. They are pretty durable depending what type of work you plan to do in them. I've used them for hunting (not deer hunting quiet), hiking, and light outdoor yard work and have found them to be good quality. I buy mine 1 size up so I have room to layer up underneath in the winter and plenty of room to move around without restriction. They are light weight and will rip quicker than the rubber but thats a trade off I am willing to take for the comfort. I generally get a few years use out of them before I replace them and like that I can buy the pants separate from the shirt so I'm able to go large pants and medium top tailoring it to my build and preference. My go to raingear because they simply work, are comfortable and inexpensive.

Arrived early!
Arrived earlier than expected, can’t wait to try them on a Father’s Day kayaking trip! They look great and fit perfectly so far, just gotta see how they hold up against the water!

Did the job
Wore these bad boys to a music festival in a Hurricane. Dances my but off and didn't get my legs wet at all. Then Was up all night fending to our camp set up in torrential downpour. None of the canopies or tents survived, but my leg never got wet. They were very thin, kind of flimsy material. It seems like they could rip easily. They were long enough for my tall legs I'm 5.8 130lbs. The waist was a little, but the adjuster made it easy to fit. If you're looking for something and you're looking for something for a few times uses and not like an every day, water prevention tight pants these are definitely the way to go.

I will look elsewhere.
I can’t tell you if they are water proof or not, because I returned them due to the paper like quality of these pants. They remind me of putting on a tyvek suit. For one time use they may have been worth the money, but I am planning a Alaskan trip and need something that will hold up and not feel like wearing a paper shopping bag.Why did you pick this product vs others?:

Fully functional
1 year update: Still using the same set... its getting about time for a replacement... but I still arrived home dry after my 1 hour commute in heavy rain on the motorcycle.Original review after a few months:After thousands of miles through all of Ohio weather minus snow, they kept me dry on my daily 50 commute each way. Small and light enough to keep in my bag all the time. Big enough to go over my normal boots so getting them on over my gear is a quick and easy process. Its a permanent part of my loadout. Even at times when it was dry but cold, I put them on to break the wind for comfort.

Stiff but functional for only $20 - fisherman spouse they were a no
I am not experienced with ordering waterproof pants or waders but having a significant other who fishes a lot mentioned needing waders so for Father’s Day I ordered a couple pairs of different ones that I thought he might like. Of the ones ordered these ones stood out as being rather big for an extra large. He usually wears an extra large and although he did not physically try them on his person they were clearly huge and he would have been able to do a size medium had he liked the feel of the fabric which seems stiff and uncomfortable- not breathable which is essential here in Florida. I truly believe these would work as waterproof and there are Velcro straps at the bottom to secure around boots- waist is adjustable but just not for him.

Rain cover that's lightweight (7oz) and waterproof
The media could not be loaded. Like:- Lightweight (7oz), great for backpacking.- Cheap compared to some of the more popular brands; maybe not as durable but in my case I will only wear them a few times a year so I don't foresee any issues. (though might be durable enough, I haven't tried them in the field yet).- Waterproof: I poured water on them, and the inside did not even get damp. If however I try to push air through the fabric (holding my mouth against it) a tiny amount of air does go thru. So they are somewhat "breathable". Will be nice for winter backpacking too.Don't like:- They are a bit noisy and feel like a piece of thin "cardboard" (see video). Not a deal breaker to me though.- I usually wear size Large pants (US waist 34, length 30 - I'm 5'9, 170lbs), but these are Medium, and fit me at the waist like normal Large pants would. The legs are baggy enough to allow for another pair of thick pants under. A Large would also work since the waist is elastic, though the legs may be even more baggy then. But either would be fine for a backpacking trip.
