Don't use this cap
2003 Lancer5 stars for the gasket0 stars for the capI ordered this just for the gasket. Amazon sells the gasket alone for the same price as this cap, but it would have taken longer to arrive.I'm not surprised so many have had the nut come off. This isn't an item that should ever need to come apart. I attached a picture of what my oil filler cap looks like. You can see that it is machined in a way that prevents separation. Get yourself a better cap. Gasket works great!

Don't expect threads.
Maybe this fits somebody's car, but not mine. It's not really closing my oil tank so much as it is resting over the top of it (no threads). Not appropriate for a '99 Eclipse.
