Makes Recording Your Shot Strings a lot Easier.
Works good for the Competition Electronics Pro-Chrono Digital. They only thing I have noticed, is that you have to take your time (2-5 seconds) between shots. If you shoot too fast, it does not beam all the shots to the Pro-Chrono App. The shots will be on the Pro-Chrono itself, but you may have some missing/unrecorded shoots in the app. Also, make sure you set your shot string data up ahead of shooting, and to select which shot string you are about to shoot before you start shooting. This is a good product all-in-all, and makes recording shots a little easier than writing them down. I will say it is a little over-priced for what it is, but its proprietary, so you have really no choice.

Greatly enhanced the utility of my chrono!
I bought this to capture data from my Competition Electronics ProChrono Digital chronograph to my android tablet. It paired to either my iPhone 6, and my Nexus 9 tablet with no issues. The free Digital Link app worked great (with one issue described below). I found it pretty easy to set up new shot lists and capture data on different loads while at the range. I put my reload formula in the Notes section for each new shot group, so that information was saved along with my chrono data. I also entered a bullet weight, which allowed the app to calculate foot/lbs and power factor. If you don't add the bullet weight beforehand, you can edit the shot group and add it later, and the app will still calculate those values. The raw data and calculated information can be saved in PDF or CSV format, and can be saved or emailed. Overall I am very happy with the functionality of this device and the Digital Link app.I had one issue with the software that was a bit frustrating until I figured out what was going on. My tablet has a bluetooth keyboard cover so I keep it in landscape orientation. In that position, the bottom part of the Digital Link screen is cut off. All I could see was the velocity of the last shot in big numbers, but I could not see it saving my shot data, nor were any of the controls at the bottom of the screen visible. Eventually I flipped the tablet into portrait orientation, and saw what I was missing while the tablet was in landscape mode. It was for this issue that I gave 4 rather than 5 stars.

Product description incomplete...
I'll only mention what isn't addressed in the product description, as all of that worked exactly as advertised. The accompanying ProChrono Digital functioned exactly as advertised also. I used an iPhone 6S to interface. Other devices' function may vary?1) Ability to CONVENIENTLY export data as a .CSV file. Perfect for those of us who use spreadsheets to store/evaluate/manipulate our data2) Voice - The app can be configured to call out the velocity (Siri Voice) after each shot. No need to interrupt your shooting position to look at a screen.Frankly, I'm shocked the company doesn't put these features at the top of their description. This functionality puts this chronograph package miles ahead of any competitor in the price range that I'm aware of.

This is the one! Brilliant!
This is the one. I got the computer/cable one first, and while it works, it's quite awkward. I also found it hard to see my old laptop screen in daylight.Seeing the good reviews, I went ahead and got this Bluetooth wireless thing, and it's everything the wired one isn't. Super easy to use, the data collects into your phone, easy to manipulate or move the data, and your phone can be made to TELL you as each shot is measured. Cadillac style, makes shooting over the chrono totally easy and fun. The mount is ok, it's kind of mickey mouse with the velcro strap holding the box onto the side of the chrono like an afterthought. But the function is what is important, and it's just Stellar. As an aside, I mount my chrono in a little wooden box that holds a 1/2" AR500 steel plate in front of the chrono, and replaced the diffuser wires with wooden dowells. The bluetooth box just sits in the box plugged into the chronograph. At this point I'll let just about anybody shoot over my chrono, because you can't hurt it. 8^)(ADDED) I didn't mention above that the Chrono protection box is a fairly tight fit, and you can't see the face of the chrono when it is in the box. Sounds like a big PIA but with this Bluetooth gizmo it doesn't matter. I turn on the Chrono, turn on the bluetooth thing, walk back to my shooting position and get out my cellphone; touch the icon and it connects very quickly and is ready to run!Overview:The way it works is that you name the next set of shots you are going to measure, and there's a place to enter Notes, Temperature, Barometric pressure, and bullet weight. When you save it, it takes you to the velocities page. You shoot, the velocity appears on the screen. Keep shooting, and the velocities scroll down the screen. (the top, most recent velocity is big, the rest normal sized.) Each round appears with it's Power Factor, in case you are doing the competition thing. You can look at a graph of all the shots in the string, showing average and each shot, another button brings up a table with the statistical stuff, and the standard 'Share' looking icon sends the data in one of three formats: a text summary, CSV file, or a 'full summary'. CSV, baby, straight into Excel! I'm so happy. 8^)Use the back button when done shooting the string and touch the big plus sign (+) to start another string. Conclusion: This is good Android software. It acts the way you expect it to act, and I didn't encounter any surprises. Seriously, you'll be shooting and collecting data with confidence right away, more so as you go along and the gizmo never lets you down. This is the most fun, and the least worry, that I've ever had using a chrono. Good stuff.

Simple! if you chorno at an active range get it.
Works great, takes a few mins to set up for the first time, after that it's easy. app was easy to find on android market and was nice to see it auto fills in the weather info based on GPS location. So nice to have the numbers right there next to me and can just email it once done.

Fantastic.
This thing is amazing, it gives you the ability to collect your velocity data from a safe distance and then save it for later analysis.Just make sure your chronograph has a data jack before buying this.

Awesome tool
Very helpful to keep track of your bullet speeds. Type in the name and powder charge etc and it records the info to that specific bullet. Also records the date and the temperature so you can compare results. Beats pen and paper in the field
