Is this heating pad considered medical grade?

I would say it is of the quality you might see at a physical therapist or similar. It is very good quality. I bought my wife one too and we've both been very happy with them.

2 Questions: 1) long is the cord on the medium size heating pad? 2) How hot, temperature does it get?

Cord is 8 feet long Temperatures are 113, 130, 150 & 166. Have only used the first 2 temperatures Best heating pad I have had

Excellent question, but it is not infrared heat. It is a medical device. If you are looking for infrared heat, try the latest BioMat. Be meticulous when researching BioMats that use crystals to generate infrared heat. Hope this helps!
