Darice Deluxe Bead Loom: Solid Oak, 15 x 14 x 3.5 Inches, Brown

I purchased this loom, regardless of reviews. I decided to try it for myself and I'm glad I did. I wanted a loom that was big enough to make bead bags and such on it. The size was perfect and then some. The product is light-weight but heavy enough for beading. I love the design which makes the beading easy. It has plenty of work room where you can easily get your needle in and out without a problem. The loom coils are great. I love the small size that allows you to put your string close together for intricate beading projects. The loom came disassembled in the box. There was no missing parts. It was simple to put together. I love it and couldn't be happier. The loom is a perfect choice and one that I'm glad I made. By the way, this is not my first loom. I have others that I have bought from Amazon and this one is my favorite.

Needed it to make a purse for my sister for Christmas and it worked perfectly! Easy to use especially with the "legs" to angle the loom at two different heights...saves the back from hunching over.

The first one of these I received had parts missing so I returned and got a replacement. The replacement came with the glued down thread guide loose. Not wanting to wait to replace another one I re-glued it myself and it works fine. I am disappointed in the lack of quality in the item but like the item.

Would be a great loom...sturdy, easy to use, easy to assemble...IF the loom came with all the parts needed to assemble it. I ordered the first one, only to receive a damaged item that had obviously been returned. One of the frame connector dowels and two of the wooden knobs were completely stripped out and ruined. With the way the threading has been installed inside the dowels and knobs, there's no fixing it yourself easily.Amazon has a really good replacement policy, so I returned the defective loom and specifically asked for a new, unopened loom. The replacement arrived today, obviously used, product box opened, and missing a bolt and washer needed to connect one of the guide dowels to the frame.Thankfully I was raised to be able to fix things myself, so a trip to the hardware store solved the issue of the missing bolt and washer for less than $1.00.Just wish this product had been delivered new, as the purchase option I chose. Both looms arrived opened, used, and either had damaged parts or were missing some.

I bought this for a future project. I had been looking for some time and was very happy to find it now. It looks like just what I was looking for, because my project is about 15 inches in diameter. i was very happy with the speedy delivery.

Well this product had potential but really you should just start shipping it in pieces already so no one tries to use it before THEY put it together. Before I could even begin to use this I had issues. First, the little pegs kept falling out. I had to glue them all in place. Second- the legs that make this stand are uneven, no matter how much you try to make it otherwise. After using it once the springs popped out and ruined the bracelet I was making. My only source of income at this time is bracelet making and had I known this was going to fall apart on me so quickly I wouldn't have even bothered. Now I have to try to figure out how to glue the springs back on and try to use it even though its uneven. Very poor quality. You could probably use a cardboard box and get better results. At least the springs wont come flying off in the middle of your project. Wish I would have read all the reviews. Thanks for making me realize that some companies put all their money into packaging an inferior and poorly built product. I am truly in shock. How do you get away with selling something so poorly made is beyond me. READ THE REVIEWS, TURN AROUND AND WALK AWAY.

awesome !!! I use to have the cheap metal one, love this one lot more sturdy, love the fact its made out of wood. should last for many years to come

Easy to use

The instructions do not make clear that there are two sizes of screws- four short and two long- for the rods and the legs. I initially though, like others, that they included screws that were too short until I checked and sure enough, there they were. It is a beautiful loom, a lovely dark red staining. I love it.

The springs and fasteners at the ends do not hold. The product is poorly made and put together. I have a cheaper smaller version that is eminently reliable and made by another company. I will now be trying to see if they will make me a bigger version rather than using this useless piece of trash. I am very, very disappointed as this was supposed to be used to make a big present for someone for Christmas. No chance of that now!!

I’m not able to fully assemble my loom because the threaded posts on one of the support rods are not long enough. They don’t fit far enough through the side piece to be able to attach the wooden caps. Pretty disappointed. I’m going to see if I can find wing nuts that will fit the same thread. I’m not excited to spend my time and money putting together a product that should be ready to use. Aside from this problem the loom itself is nice
