Use Wisely; Great for Music Videos and Film
Froggy's Fog Swamp Juice is as intense, heavy, and lingering as advertised-- love it!Everyone says dilute FFSJ with water-- I agree-- and one reviewer said consider using a coffee filter-- a good suggestion for less powerful machines. Just be smart about it; the smaller/less powerful your fog machine, the more dilution/filtering you're going to need. Personally I use the Chauvet Lighting Hurricane 1301 Fog Machine and fill it to the second- or third-to-top line with FFSJ, the rest with water. I have yet to to a vinegar-h20 wash, as I've not gone through the whole tank. I feel as though my machine will be able to handle it until it's empty, at which point I will give it a rinse and update. As others have noted it has almost no smell which was honestly a huge factor for me. I work on music videos and indie films, and more and more sets are using hazers/fog because of the beautiful light play, added depth, etc. The last set I was on had some party store generic brand of stinky, thin fog (had to be pumping constantly) in EVERY shot. It was disgusting; I couldn't even eat on breaks... Not the case with FFSJ! It's not ODORLESS but it's completely tolerable, even in extended situations. Breathing in fog is never fun for anyone, but just be smart-- don't be a mouth breather. I'd also suggest wearing a dust mask if in the area for over an hour, or if you have sensitive lungs. (Also if you're using this on a horror set, consider the actors' may have to gulp in air to scream.... Ew. Have lots of water for everyone!)For those that are considering FFSJ for film use, hopefully you know this but: make SURE you keep your lens out of the direct path of the fog stream! A little FFSJ goes a long way, so start with just a bit and gradually haze up. Too much looks cheesy, will likely force you down some stops, aaaand the more you add the higher the humidity. High humidity for prolonged periods is of course not good for your lens. I recommend taking your camera out of the room whenever possible for as long as possible. (Be cautious about potential temperature drop leaving a fog-heavy room; you don't want any condensation either!) Also, wouldn't hurt to get a pack or two of ShieldPro Humidity Indicator Card 10-Pack 10-60% 6 Dot (10 Cards). Cheap and useful, even outside of film sets.So I'll update this review as I use it more and more (will add footage shots too!) but currently couldn't be more happy with my purchase! :)

As advertised
First thing I did with this fluid was put it in a chauvet 1600W machine and set it out in the driveway at the house for a test run. New machine, plus Froggy's.It was a perfectly still day, and I gave the machine about a ten second blast. It enveloped the car, such that it was completely obscured in daylight sun. The cloud dispersed a bit, but hung so long that it just moved down the street very slowly, and hung in the trees ten minutes later. When I saw that, I tipped the machine up into a large sycamore in my front yard, and gave it another blast, making the tree look like a big cotton candy. A few more shots just for fun, and the neighbors asked if the house was on fire. Guess it was time to put it away.... Looking forward to deploying froggys indoors, but I'll probably have to keep it to short bursts at a low percentage. PS: during my testing I learned the front door needs new weather sealing and that the smoke detectors in the house work. So I may end up smoke testing the house for leaks with Froggy's too.

NOT LONG-LASTING
Tried this based on reviews and was very disappointed. Especially at the cost paid. I have a commercial grade fog machine and used Black Label thick myst; it works so much better outdoors than Froggy's. Obviously the solution works, just don't expect 2-3 hour hang time. I had more like 1-2 minutes

Best fog juice I've used
I work at a haunt in an open field. I tried this stuff last yr and again this yr. I have 2 basic fog machine going one at each end of the field. The field is very large n at times windy. After about an hour this fog covers the field and the others around it. The fog takes about another hour to disappear. Both my machines run about 2 plus hours and I'm left with about 1/4 or more fluid in the reservoir on the machine. I'd highly recommend this stuff. my only dislike is well it's fog fluid which to my understanding is mostly water glycerin. That said it's way over priced.
