SpankOOZY Reboot Pedals Ultra Thin Race and Freeride Pedal

I've tried a few different brands/styles of flat pedals, and these are the best so far. I'm a U.S. size 9.5 shoe, and the platform is plenty big. The pins provide fantastic traction, much better than RF Chesters and some others. The finish on them is top notch; they look really good in person, with a nice, deep orange color. I like the fact that these are fully serviceable and highly recommend these if you're in the market for some flats.

After buying a new Trek hardtail this summer, I started looking at ways to improve the bike’s look and function without breaking the bank. After adding a rear cargo rack and bottle cage, the next obvious upgrade was pedals.I have particularly large feet and am also not the most skilled or experienced rider. For those reasons, good pedals are important. The stock pedals that came with the bike were OK, but only had molded pins for grip - which I found to be a little more slippery than I wanted for the type of riding I was planning to do. They were also a tad small for me and were a boring black color with dorky amber reflectors built in. They had to go.I started looking at brands that offered flat mountain bike pedals. It took a while to familiarize myself with what was out there and what I liked and didn’t. The more I looked, the more I found myself drawn to the models featuring an anodized aluminum platform material and adjustable pins for a customized fit / grip. From a looks standpoint, I wanted the pedals to compliment the existing two-tone paint scheme of my bike while also introducing a third color that could be matched with customized components down the line, if desired. Finally, I set a max budget of around a hundred dollars.I managed to get everything I wanted with these Oozys by Spank. The price was right about where I wanted it to be and the look is just about perfect. Installation was a breeze. You’ll need an 8 mm allen wrench and a little bit of grease if you’re doing this at home. You may also need a pedal wrench (e.g. Park Tool PW-5) if you’re planning to remove an existing set of pedals before installing new ones.Overall, a very easy and sensible upgrade that allows the bike to not only be safer and more fun to ride but also an expression of one's personality and style.

Spike could be a fraction longer but you still few the grip and planted on the pedals fyi the spikes are replaceable

I love these pedals. The quality is so nice I decided to go with Spank for most of my other upgrades.

These are hands down my favorite flat MTN bike pedal out there! Slim, stable, strong and rebuildable. You can't ask for anything more! They offer exceptionable grip under all weather and riding conditions and hold up well to incidental impacts. High quality at a very reasonable price point.

These pedals look great and work well. Very happy with them!
