I ordered 1 set of these socks and liked them so much; I ordered 2 more to give as stocking stuffer type gifts. They have remarkable quality for being "as cheap as chips." I haven't been able to find the percentage of wool used anywhere nor is the sock packaging itself labeled but I can feel there is some wool in them without them being scratchy. I did ask my New Zealand husband how on earth they could be this cheap if they have wool in them. His theory is that the wool used is "dag wool," which has been cleaned and treated. I don't mind a bit as they socks fit well (size 10), are warm and toasty with patterns as cute as all get out! Go order a set!

Update and edit: I intentionally shrunk these sock in very hot water, and now they are perfect! Shrinking them made them thicker/ better cushioned and the fit is no longer too loose on my size 8 feet. They no longer feel like cheaper tube socks after shrinking. I believe these do have 35% wool content, because wool always shrinks when you "shock" it by going from cold to hot water. Really great value!Original review: I purchased these socks on Prime Day for just over $2 per pair, a great value. The patterns and colors are cute, and I like the cotton/wool fabric content. However they only come in size large and the fit is very loose on my size 8W feet. The construction is one step up from tube socks, but that is what they feel like. The cushioning from the loosely looped interior is minimal, which is OK, just don't expect much cushioning.. I am hoping they shrink when machine washed and dried which would give a better fit.

I wanted colorful wool socks for the winter and chose these for their looks. I really like the design. I've only worn them since Christmas, so I can't speak to durability. They are comfortable--not itchy at all. While I wouldn't call them really warm, since they are really thin, they do keep my feet warm on our wood and tile floors (I don't wear shoes in the house). The one drawback, in my mind, is that they have almost zero give, so it's really hard to pull them on over my heel (I wear a size 9 x-wide shoe). As a result, I can't afford to have them shrink, so I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry. Because I have trouble getting them on my feet, I won't be buying them again, but for someone with a smaller size foot, I think they would be great.

Warm & comfortable & fit true to size. The most important thing is these socks are a good quality, wash well, are warm & breathable, don't make your feet hot or sweaty and are a good value. The color of the socks is more muted than the online images. Love that they are a natural fiber

The outside of the sock looks nice. The socks are soft and not scratchy at all, which is great. But the inside of the sock is another story. They are still soft but the strings! Strings hanging out everywhere and string “loops” all over. They will catch on your fingernails. I had to be careful folding these. I’m disappointed the weave isn’t better. The inside is still soft but I can tell right away that I will have to be careful with these if I want them to last. I know you get what you pay for and these are cheap enough that if I ruin them I can replace them pretty easily. They do seem to be true to size. Overall they are okay, but if the weave had been better inside I would have given them 5 stars because they are so soft and the colors are so fun.

Wool socks. Comfortable. Warm. Nice to wear around the house as well as with shoes on cold days outside. Bought two sets and all holding up well. Good value and nice to have for Fall, Winter, and Early Spring.
