To make a queen size quilt 92 x 96 it would take 2 of these and any adjustments to make a little larger you would add a border.

The dark stripe is actually a black ribbon that is holding the roll together. You can remove the ribbon and use it for some other project. At least that is what you're referring to.

I bought 2 of these jelly rolls.Tone on tone pale strips will be so useful in many projects and these were reasonably priced and give me a good variety.Just for your info, they are the ones that feel like they have a thin layer of print on the surface and are therefore slightly thicker than regular fabric, but this is often the case with tone on tone fabrics.
