Perfect for Ball Pythons!
Great product! I use it for my ball pythons and it’s done very well holding in humidity and is asthetically pleasing. Add water, mix it up, and use!!

Works great for tortoise and ball python
This stuff has a great smell and works well in both my kids terrarium. We have a red footed tortoise and a ball python. It soaks up their poop good and makes for easy cleaning. Very little dust remains when cleaning out the terrariums. Much cheaper than buying at the local reptile store. The bag is packed so tight and compacted that one of these will last you a long time. Will continue buying on Amazon for as long as we have the pets!

This is the best substance hands down
Seriously this is the only substrate I use for my tortoises. Low dust. Expands Great deal so be ready. The pieces aren't too small so that my tortoises do not get impacted.

Nice substrate, will never use anything else.
Works well, love this substrate! Doesn’t smell bad either. Holds humidity really well. It does have a hard time soaking up water and expanding if you aren’t using a watering hose. My little House Snake LOVES to burrow in this.

Hasn't ever let me down
Works great for my ball pythons. Holds enough moisture without molding, and rough enough for them to easily get their sheds off in one piece. If you're getting it for the first time it might not look like a whole lot but once you start breaking the block apart it expands a LOT. Some bags I've noticed can be pretty dusty so maybe take it apart somewhere with decent airflow or wear a mask to protect your lungs. Or be like me and deal with 5-10 minutes of non-stop sneezing and wheezing... (Don't be like me.)This stuff lasts me a good while, it's easy to clean, easy to store (I have a tote I bought from Walmart that holds it all just fine) it's chunks so it doesn't really stick to itself so if your snake likes to burrow this might not be up to their liking. I've personally never had an issue with any of my snakes eating it or getting hurt by it, no blockages or anything of the sort.

Good for potting mix
My photo I added is the product mixed in with other things to make a potting mix, but I also showed some pieces of it separate in the second photo. It’s been handy to get coco chips that aren’t uniform I’m size to allow for better drainage. It’s comes as massive block, so I’ve just been breaking off bits as needed and I haven’t even made a dent making a batch of potting mix (normally I’d have used half my supplies). It’s definitely worth the money and will last me a very long time). I’d imagine, if you use this with reptiles, it’d look nice and natural and it’s lightweight which is probably good for moving through. I really like how there’s some strands of coco husk (maybe?) in here as well. I like the look and consistency that it gives and how easy it is to blend sizes of amendments in my potting mix with this. I have also just noticed that coco husk/chips tend not to get mold the way that bark does, I assume it’s just more airy but either way it’s been great.
