Catie's Bubbles Luxury Shaving Soap - New Formula (A Midnight Dreary)

I can't say enough good things about these Catie's Bubbles soaps, I decided to try this one out after being most impressed with the Barnegat Bay, this one is just as impressive IMO. The performance and post shave feeling is top notch, the fragrance is exotic in a mysterious way. If a fragrance could smell both warm and cold at the same time, this would be it. It also gives feelings of an old school fragrance while also having a modern vibe to it..probably doesn't make sense but it will once you smell it. IDK if I would describe it as dreary but if you enjoy complex fragrances, you'll most likely enjoy this. The scent is pretty strong and "haunting" during the shave but it does fade away pretty quick after rinsing. It's really hard to place what's in it, according to CB website there are several florals like jasmine, orchid and lotus in it.....I cannot pick up on any of those at all, unfortunately...what really stands out to me is actually dark chocolate and musk. Not a bad thing, just not really what I was expecting. All in all, this is another keeper for my shaving rotation and I enjoy it more each time I go back to it.

Caties bubbles hits a home run again! Beautiful soap only problem is that the fragrance is very light. With saying that it still is an amazing sent very complex.

What is there to say about Catie's Bubbles that hasn't been said before? Maybe that it should grace the men's grooming shelves of every major chain box store? A day is coming when people will talk about Catie's Bubbles as the American classic, a true original.

Love Cattie's Bubbles shaving soap. This my favorite artisan and I love the scent.
